Great location. Friendly staff. If you can get a room it’s an unbeatable location.
Celebrated a friend's birthday here. For a large group to cater for, the standard of the food was very good served with tasty well selected wines. Probably could do with air conditioning given the dress code.
A nice meal in a lovely venue, spoilt by the insanely hot temperature inside. They have no air conditioning, the windows were all closed, and you have to wear a suit. Very uncomfortable indeed.

Looked nice, but the ac didn’t work and the breakfast was disgusting, just folded ham, dry croissants, and cheese slices. I thought it was dumb that they had a dress code in the lobby after 4 pm. But kind of friendly staff
Covered a large corporate private event here earlier in the summer and found the venue to be of a very traditional hey high quality look and feel. The staff are very professional and extremely attentive, as you would expect of an exclusive club. The food on display was delicious with outside private areas surrounded by beautiful greens to take in. I believe the club has on site rooms to stay in if needed. I would definitely recommend this site for private events
Great staff, friendly and helpful. Wonderful drinks and reasonable prices for london! Doesn't seem like much from outside but inside is a lovely homely and sophisticated bar and dining room Find yourself a member and get them to guest you along, a guaranteed wonderful evening :
I Had a less than stellar experience, thats' not to say it was bad, in fact I found it above average I just found my experience was underwhelming or disappointing if anything. The Entrance is good, tiled with easy access to the mens room immediately to the entrance so if you require a change of attire into the dress code then it is easily done. Speaking of dress code it is complicated , generally a collared shirt will suffice with chinos, but polos can be worn in areas, and on certain days jackets or Reefer jacketsSailing Peacoat are required. The food is good but Bar staff was inexperienced and easily overwhelmed by an order for only a few drinks. The carpets are sticky, and the dining seating is reminiscent of a 1980s cruise liner - that is to say it is laminate timber dining chairs. Clubhouse lounge furniture is in stark contrast, comfortable and relaxing, A Humidor is also available on site, unfortunately I don't smoke but my friend didn't complain about their offerings. The wardroom aesthetic and 250 years of history on the walls seems to redeem a lot of it's bad features and makes for an above average impression, if a little disappointing. Would I return in the future? I think so, As i would i'd like to try the menu and the accommodation which both look reasonably priced for the location, even for guests.
