Had afternoon tea in the drawing room! From start to finish everything was amazing. The staff was attentive, informational, and super friendly. We had the festive menu and started off with a glass of champagne and a taste of mulled wine. Our sandwiches were tasty even had 2 rounds. Best Biscuits I’ve had. Overall it was a great experience and worth the value!
Definitely the best afternoon tea experience I have had around the world. The other one is just as impressive is Tokyo Mandarin Oriental afternoon tea. Savoy London is good too. Butterfly Room in Hong Kong has great food quality too but services are poor. Just the food quality, ambient and services are all top notch. Sure the price is above average in London and it’s totally worth it. For those who said it’s overpriced just shut up and go somewhere cheaper and get a downgraded version of everything. Period.
Exceptional food and service! The sandwiches were sheer perfection, and the sweets were what dreams are made of. The scones weren't anything to write home about, but the overall experience was certainly 5 stars. I wish I could remember our server's name; he was very attentive and kind. I highly recommend a stop at the Drawing Room for afternoon tea. Reservations recommended.
What Elegance! The service and food were top notch! The Brown Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in London, but honestly it’s in perfect condition. They were very accommodating, even when I was late to my own appointment and the rest of my group made it on time. They were so sweet to wait on me. I had a lovely experience. If I ever go back to London this is the first reservation I am booking. The High Tea at the Brown Hotel is unlike any other, and it’s a must do while in London. One of our servers was from Hungry and she had a wonderful voice even if she was only singing Happy Birthday. Then our other server was from Italy. It was so nice to see all the different cultures and stories they had to share with us.
Our first afternoon tea experience was absolutely delightful! The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was lovely, and we had a wonderful time. The live piano really elevated the experience as well. The gluten-free menu was EXCELLENT - the kitchen was able to recreate every sandwich from the traditional menu and was able to make gluten-free scones and desserts with slight modifications. Everything was delicious. I did not notify the restaurant of my allergy in advance, and they were very accommodating, but they do recommend making a note of any allergies when you reserve your table, as it makes it a bit easier for the restaurant to create your dishes more quickly! 10/10 Vegetarian options: Plant-based afternoon tea menu available! Dietary restrictions: The traditional menu can be made gluten-free make a note of your allergies when making a reservation.
The piano player was stellar! The food was delectable and the service was impeccable. You get 1 hour and 45 minutes for Afternoon Tea. Such a lovely way to spend a little time in MayfairFood: 5/5
To-tea-lly amazing! Lovely ambience, excellent service and delicious food. The staff really take care of you well and nothing is too much trouble for them as they really want you to enjoy your Afternoon Tea : I must add; if you love a good Victoria sandwich, this place serves up one of the best Oh, and I must mention, they have a superb list of teas to choose from! Truly enjoyed my time here. Worth every quid £55 before service charge. Everything was amazing, very intimate settings and was grateful to be there just living the moment with a loved one. Life is too short indeed, so make the most out of it!
Beautiful room for an afternoon tea. Great selection and taste of tea and scons, desserts. However, the sandwiches were dry and the additional sweets at the end weren’t necessary, too much for me. Extremely overpriced compared to the experience around 70£ for one person. Two older women came and they weren’t bean treated well, I felt bad for them that they had to wait standing.
Great combination of quality food, attentive service and reasonable price 55£! One of the best afternoon teas for: + Extremely attentive stuff special thanks to Yonka, who watched over us! + Fresh delicious finger sandwiches refillable prawn and egg one are exceptional + Soft fresh scones for those who like them a bit doughy, not too coarse + Relaxing ambience with live music piano + Small but high quality variety of teas Chai and Earl Grey were great! + Vegan and Vegetarian trays are available - From the downside, there is a limit on 2 hours, but everything is served promptly, so you don’t feel rushed
Yonka was amazing serving us so many different teas, suggesting her favourites and giving us perfect advice in pairing champagne, foods and teas. We loooved it! Thank you Yonka for making this experience even more special.
