Story

MOSIMANN'S BELFRY

It is not given to many buildings to serve as a Presbyterian church, a spiritualists’ meeting place and finally, as one of London’s most famous luncheon and dining clubs. Built in 1830, The Belfry has been all these things.

Helmed by legendary chef Anton Mosimann and his two sons Philipp and Mark Mosimann, Mosimann’s Club is one of the most prestigious private dining clubs in the world.

Members come from the world over to enjoy its exemplary cuisine, wines and bespoke service, set in the luxurious and intimate atmosphere of a stunningly-converted 19th century church in the heart of Belgravia, with its relaxed Balcony Bar, grand Main Dining Room, and seven exquisite Private Dining Rooms.

Had a lovely time attending a wedding reception. The staff are superbFood: 4/5
This was a visit arranged by a group that I am member of. We were in the bell tower itself at the very top of the building. The food was excellent and the service was first class with lovely wines. The atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. The chocolate fondant was outstanding and in fact the nicest I have ever had. Thank you to all involved for a lovely evening.
10/10 best restaurant in London! The food is creative and delicious; the wine list is wide-ranging and full of treats; the staff are friendly, attentive, and so knowledgeable about the menu and building; and the atmosphere is simply divine! The mushroom risotto is a must, along with the crab cakes and if it’s on the menu beef carpaccio. They are able to do incredible custom events and always put in 110%.
Our second visit to this wonderful restaurant. We enjoyed lunch for two in the Montblanc room, the smallest private dining room in the world. Staff were excellent, extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was very delicious and beautifully presented, highlights were the funghi risotto with truffle and the main course of lamb which was perfectly cooked. Lunch was accompanied with wine pairings which, all worked perfectly with the dishes. Overall, a very memorable lunch and Mosimann's remains firmly on the list to return again. Thank you!
Definitely an experience. Loved the service which was excellent and the surroundings. Food good though there is better about. Well worth a trip for environment alone. Prettiest loos I have seen.Food: 4/5
If you are not a member, hard to get a table. Took us months of reservation. But all worth the waits. Welcoming staff to a beautiful white setting. Opulence and classy. We had Mr Mosimann’s signature food and they were delicious. Best when all the food served together so no one had to wait. The 6 of us had 3 course meal and were all very merry.
I was warned about how expensive this place is. There were visual clues even before I entered the building as parked outside in the street were various supercars: Ferraris, MClarens etc. Inside the receptionist and waiting staff were always super helpful. I was at a reception in the attic which was difficult to access for the military veteran taking part in the event as it was up multiple narrow staircases. Later or drinks reception was in a very narrow space and the waiting stay struggled to serve us. Nevertheless this is a beautiful place.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening meal. Staff were excellent, friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing. I'd happily eat here weekly - if I could afford it!Food: 5/5

We recently had an event on 23rd July at The Lancaster House, and the Mosimann Team truly exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, the outstanding team led by Philipp Mosimann, Director, and Nicolle Fruchier, a fantastic event organiser, ensured everything ran smoothly. Toni Topi, the fantastic Operations Manager and their entire team were exceptional. The event was a great success, featuring a delicious 5-course meal served to over 100 guests simultaneously, maintaining the same high standards as at the Mosimann Club. The level of service was always 5 star, making us feel like royalty every time. We received positive feedback from our guests and our chairman, all of whom were impressed by the faultless service. Your efforts truly made the event memorable. Philipp's dedication is highly commendable. Despite his commitments at the Olympic Games Paris 2024, he made sure to be present at our event, ensuring its success. Thank you all, and we look forward to our next event with you soon.
