Hospital staff, doctors and nurses that I have dealt with are fantastic. Second to none. A fantastic and well run hospital. The car park is another story entirely unfortunately. I don't know who the original architect was but designing it to have concrete pillars between each and every parking space when the spaces are already too small is just insane. They also fall right where your car door needs to open no matter which direction you face the car. In a nutshell: Amazing hospital & staff Car park architect, absolute gimp.
Transferred from Chesterfield Royal with a severe case of quinsy and blocked airway. All the staff in I1 were brilliant and thanks to the 2 consultants who sorted me out. A very scary ordeal made much less so by a great service.
The experiences I had with this hospital neurology is beyond belief. The doctors at the neurology department have a god like status. I admit they doing amazing work in research and probably for other patients, but not in my case. I have been treated on numerous occasions with disrespect and bulyish behaviour. They diagnosed me in and out of Motor Neurone Disease. This is medical gaslighting. You can't diagnose someone in and out of a serious disease. It is emotional abuse not only to me, but also to my children. You can't do this to people!!!! I don't care what a group of important doctors you are, but it is ethically, morally and humanely incorrect how you have treated me. They are an entitled bunch and have never heard of the word APOLOGY.
Just wanted to thank Royal Hallamshire Hospital - Sheffield for looking after my mum for the past couple of days, putting us both in patient accommodation to recover after her emergency retinal detachment surgery, and also getting her in for surgery SO quickly! She's really been well looked after by every single staff member we've encountered, from domestics to the surgeon. Thank you to everyone in the eye clinic and particularly the lady in pre-op assessment for sorting us with accommodation as we were unable to travel back and forth.
Only giving free stars cos my cusin Hakan Akbas slipped on the stairs on sum dug poo and had a wee accident but they fixed up his toenail good just forgot the ligiment he snapped he didnt make it but 3 stars for effort hope hes reincarnated or somethin he was a good lads
An excellent hospital. Easy to get parked on each visit made so far and the staff in Ward M2 in the Pulmonary Hypertension unit are absolutely fantastic
Just had a procedure done in the hospital theatre . Excellent treatment from all the staff for 12 hrs I was in . Thank you so much
Went for a blood test today - nice and organised ticket system and friendly and professional nurses completing the draws. Easy to find out way around the hospital too.
a great hospital appointments generally on time. Great staff no complaints from me or the treatment recieved
Had appointment yesterday with urology team as I have recently been diagnosed with kidney cancer. Dr Wilkinson and the 2 uro-oncology cancer support team nurses were brilliant, explained everything, listened to me ramble o about my fears, and both my husband and I left feeling so much more positive than when we first met the team. I found them all to be very professional, willing to listen and ready to offer support, advice and suggestions, and tissues as needed. Hopefully removal of the affected kidney will ensure the cancer has all gone but at least now I know I still have a future to look forward to..... Parking was fine, plenty of spaces on the bottom 2 levels of the car park.
