Never been to this place but I was referred a few months ago from my GP to request an assessment for autism. They sent a confirmation letter to say they received my referral but they sent it to my old address from years ago which is my father's home!!! Negligence at it's finest!! My GP did give my correct up to date address so i know it wasn't their fault. Forget this place if you are requesting any assessments they are absolutely incompetent they can't even send out letters to correct address's. I have already been diagnosed now privately as this place has a waiting list of 2 plus years for assessments. Forget the NHS when it comes to screening and diagnosis. They are absolutely clueless. Get referred privately to "Psychiatry-UK" literally the best desicion I ever made. Request your GP to send your referral to them it's free through 'right to choose' I would have had to wait 2 plus years to be diagnosed through NHS but thankfully after much research I found out i could be diagnosed privately, for free and only had to wait 2 months.
My dad has been here a while now and from where he was to now is amazing. we has a family thought we were going to lose him at one point. Nowadays he has come on leaps and bounds and so much happier so a big thank u to the team much appreciated.

One of only five G I.C's in England and it's an invaluable source for trans people, but you know what everytime I have rang up so far all you get are grumpy receptionists. Also you can't actually talk to anybody to confirm appointments etc at certain times of the day. Now depending on the hours you work and you don't manage to get through, you can get struck of far to easily and referred back to your GP far to easily and that's dusgusting when your whole life could so easily be hanging on a thread with reference to these appointments. How long it takes to get these appointments and so easily you get threatened for not confirming. If you get your letter whilst abroad and there is no way you can confirm it, what then? This needs sorting out...
I was sectioned at nether edge 2 years ago and the staff were amazing from the managers to the cleaning staff.
Foods Good Near to Local Shops OT is Good Can Use Vape inside Room Got a Smoking Area A Womens Room Minor thing at the moment the Staff are Very Busy so Hard To Get Leave But like any place New People come in All the Time so can be a Bit Tense but things are Getting Better
When I came here I was so so very angry. But, the staff, Sally the Chaplain and other influencers from my past. Oh, the meds too. haha I'm a different man. Thank you x
Used to deliver newspapers to 2 of the wards in Saturday's staff are very friendly.
Wouldn't recommend here for trans patients, I don't feel very cared for/supported
