My wife and I visited the hotel for afternoon tea on Friday. Everything was excellent all fresh and home made sandwiches and pastries very tasty and scones were yummy!! Staff were lovely. 10 out of 10 for the whole experience. Best afternoon tea ever!! David and Sandra
We stayed 5 days over Christmas and it was lovely. The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. The food, including Christmas dinner, was amazing. Rooms were spacious, warm and stylish. Bed was comfortable and plenty of wardrobe space. White robes and slippers were provided too, a lovely touch. We will be going back.
So we came here for Afternoon Tea and what an amazing experience. The staff are great, very friendly and efficient. Timing of the food and drinks was spot on. The flavour and textures of the food was absolutely brilliant.
Stayed here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was amazing, thet best I've had at any hotel. There was a wide selection and the dinner was just as nice. Fabulous hotel and staff. Had an issue with the room and they sorted it out straight away. Could not have asked for better service, can't wait to come back!Rooms: 4/5
There isn't much else around in Bo'ness to be honest. We had a wander around the town... . The food was very good and the beer too. The rooms, restaurant and bar were cold. So much so I had to fetch my jacket to eat. We ended up going to bed early as it was so cold.Rooms: 2/5
I was really pleased with the room it was nice and clean, the hotel itself did have a slight weird smell, I couldn't quite put my nose on it, the hotel was really well decorated and clean. The room was very well decorated and clean the bed was good and the shower wasn't too bad. The only gripe iv got was the Continental breakfast, it just wasn't that good compared to others iv been too £15.99 there wasn't much on offer and the cooked breakfast was pretty dry but well presented.
My 2nd stay, and the 3rd is upcoming in July What a lovely, friendly feel the hotel has about it. The staff are all welcoming, and extremely helpful if needed. Make time just to enjoy dinner here; you will not be disappointed We stayed in The Richmond Suite. Wow that bathroom!
I booked by telephone asking for a wheelchair accessible room for a solo traveller. The Wheelchair accessible room is NOT safe for a solo wheelchair traveller to occupy. The 3 meter long ramp that is required to ascend the 2 steps to the door that crosses a walkway then drops down the kerb into the carpark absolutely requires a 2nd person to stand at the top of the ramp and hold the door open as I discovered while my wheelchair slid backwards and alarmingly sideways down the ramp when trying to open the heavy door at the top of the ramp. When it became apparent to the terrified member of staff watching the wheelchair slide that it was not safe for me to get into the room without assistance I asked them to cancel my reservation and help arrange a booking at The Grange Manor only 5 miles away in Grangemouth where the rooms are lovely and disabled accessible which I highly recommend rather this place ......
Food was excellent, really top class. But the service really let this place down both nights we went. Plenty of stuff on but they stand chatting behind the bar - completely ignore the tables… Bring a menu but then don’t come for an order. Really need to focus on What’s going on in the restaurant rather than chattingService: 2/5
Standard hotel room very nice accommodations. Outside the city so it was pretty quiet but still located close to many things to visit. But the food in the restaurant, now that is why you should go. The food was outstanding, presentation, taste, creativity and service.Rooms: 4/5
