Terrible place, although it was cheap and a last minute place to book we were woken up at 7:30am by drills and hammers whilst they were "making over" the rooms, it genuinely looked like a place some men might take a 'lady of the night', no breakfast included in the price, our new shower Base was loose and we were apparently the first people to stay in the room but if I'd have slept in the bin I'd of felt cleaner, if you were thinking about booking this place........you need to stop thinking......!!! The best part about it was checking out......!!!

Not impressed, first room I was meant to have they had lost the key, the second the key card didn't work and the third I had a key because thew card didn't work but the lock was broken. The bed was awful akin to a cheap mattress on top of a laying down wardrobe. Bed lights didn't work, curtains were see through, shower door didn't close, brand new but badly fitted. The bed was far too big for the room. Never again

The hotel is currently under renovation. There is a sign to let you know this. However, the rooms are not completely finished and still require some little touches. I had an enjoyable stay but the stars reflect this unfinished quality. Once finished this hotel will be good value for money. I would stay again if I am working in the area. Staff are very friendly and always willing to do what they can to help you out.

Was okay just to rest one night. But morning kitchenette small, you have to self-service. That's only cereal and hot drinks. Too small for far too many strangers to see about their own breakfast. Plus, room I stayed in had no windows, shower too small. The lodge is on an industrial estate, quiet and no shops or cafes.

I've stayed in some dumps but have never felt the need to warn people to stay away from a hotel until now. The room was absolutely FREEZING, I had to use a hair dryer and keep boiling the kettle to get some heat in the place, it was still freezing I kept all the lights on because I needed as many heat sources as possible. There was an old wall heater but it kept burning out after about 15 minutes and took about 45 minutes to come back to life. The bed was basically a mattress on the floor. The door's beep when open so they are going off all night when people are coming and going or going out for a smoke, OK that's not a bad idea so you know you have closed the door behind you, but it sounds like a Guinea Pig having an asthma attack and it's really annoying. The bathroom window wouldn't close completely, and had a sticker on the glass so people couldn't see in, but half of the sticker had been peeled off. Anybody walking past while I'm in the shower would be able to see my man bits, well they would normally but they had disappeared into my stomach IT WAS THAT COLD. The toilet wouldn't flush properly. I feel sorry for the cleaners, I mean, I'm a regular guy, who likes spicy food, I go twice in a morning. The digital TV had such a poor picture quality it reminded me of when I saw a pirate vhs copy of A Clockwork Orange back in the 80's. It doesn't deserve the one star but thats the lowest it lets you score. So the 1 star goes to the girl on reception she was stunningly beautiful, ( call me :-) ).
