First time staying here at the Hilton Inn at Doncaster Racecourse and it most certainly will not be the last time! As you can see from the photos, the view is worth the price alone!. The hotel itself has a fantastic large lobby, a lovely little bar with seating and also a great size restaurant, The hotel car park was full due to a Christmas event however the hotel staff was so very friendly and helpful that they offered me a space, even in sight of the security cameras! Loved that! So the room itself. Exceptionally large, with double bed and a sofa bed with an amazing bathroom with a large standing shower. The room was very clean! And lots of natural light which felt so nice. We used the the TV to connect a laptop via hdmi which is very convenient if yo u want to watch films and view from the television. You can do this no problem with ease of access to the connections being on the side of the TV itself. Check out is 11am, again being super convenient, giving you plenty more time, rest and to enjoy more of your stay in this fantastic hotel. I will definitely recommend a room with the large window that faces the Racecourse! It is simply breathtaking. Merry Christmas Rooms: Large, open very spacious and clean. Has iron and ironing board, hair dryer supplied. Large shower with supplied shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. Flat screen TV with easy access to hdmi ports for laptop or games consoles. Soft and comfortable mattress. Has a Fridge, and a safe for any valuables. Kettle with tea, coffee, sugar, sweetener and milk supplied. Very very convenient. Food & drinks: Room service is available for an extra £5 but didn't order anything or drinks. Food and drinks are available from the bar and restaurant.
Spent the weekend in a king room which was of ample size, fridge, iron, ironing board, safe, kettle and phone as standard. Great view of doncaster racecourse from my room. Room service was prompt and the food was good. Easy check in and has a large secure car park £5 extra per night Rooms: Even though you have wifi, you are unable to stream movies etc. The TV does not have many channels to watch.
Stayed for a week on business. Great room, clean, comfortable, quiet. Great view of the racecourse. Food tasted great, however portions a little small given the price. Gym was good enough, a little on the small side, but had treadmill and weights so good enough for me.
My first time stating here for a business event. Room was very good, very clean and tidy. Shower could have been a little hotter but no major gripes. Stayed on the 4th floor room overlooked the racecourse. Breakfast in the rate. Breakfast is a buffet style which I prefer. And this one had fried bread, and black pudding, which I find so rare these days Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back.
Only stayed the one night, however everything about this hotel is excellent. The location, staff, and rooms are first class. Breakfast buffet has a great choice of food to suit everyone’s needs.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The entire experience from start to finish was amazing. There was no need to dine out, the restaurant had an amazing menu. I'd definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you're ever in Doncaster.Rooms: 5/5
Room was fab, restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent choice and quality. Busy road outside, probably because I arrived at rush hour!! Great location right next to the race course.
2ND day in a 5 day stay. Requested numerous times for a firm pillow. Available in other Hilton Hotels. Only to be offered another soft pillow which apparently is standard. Not catering for guests how have spine or neck issues in my opinion is Direct Discrimination..appalling.. Only got 2 hours sleep due to the poor quality of pillows available...not looking forward to the rest of my stay at all..if an injury occurs as a result..I'm not going to take that lightly..! If u can't sleep without suitable quality firm pillows..then STAY AWAY FROM HILTON DONCASTER...u won't get any help..or sleep..! absolutely shocking. .!
All the staff are excellent here and it feels like home from home.We come here about 4 times a year for the racing, Kaitlyn on reception is very professional and friendly and knows exactly what we need she always looks after us and has excellent customer service . Charlotte in the restaurant is brilliant very efficient remembers us and where we like to sit, breakfast is fabulous and the evening meal is lush, all staff are a credit to the Hilton. Thankyou All
Perfect place for us to finish our day at the races. Staff were so helpful and engaged with us. We had a light meal in the restaurant, nothing was too much trouble. We'll certainly use this one againRooms: 5/5
