Hotel starts on the first floor of the building. Ground floor two restaurants, Subway ant The Rustic Pizza Co. while two other possibilities are not occupied.nReception staff helpful.nGood clean rooms, with views of the lake.nGood location, neat Doncaster football ground, Lakeside Beefeater pub and Lakeside Shopping Village.nAn excellent mixture of shops and restaurants. Very short drive away or 10/15 minutes walk
We stayed overnight to visit family in Doncaster. Great price but the room was small but had a great view which I will share.nWe had little control of the Electric fire Heating but it was adequate.nIt was clean, quite, decent TV good car parking & we slept well.
The location was ideal for our stay. The room was basic but clean. The view outside the hotel was excellent, looking over the lake. The only downside is when we arrived at reception the lady ignored us for a few minutes, but appreciate she was busy finishing something off on the systems. Overall, a decent stay.
First time here.nTo be honest, we only stay at Travelodges because they are dog friendly and relatively cheap.nWe had a room at the back with a great view of the lakes.nWould probably return when the weather is sunnier.nIt is what is cheap,basic in a good location.
Dreadful hotel with extremely rude and horrible hotel receptionist Tamu. He entered my sister and I’s room at 2am without consent whilst we were asleep. I dread to ever use travelodge again.
