Great location, room cleaned daily by the friendliest people you'll ever meet. Bar staff always busy but easy to order to your table via the app.
It's a Wetherspoons, so you immediately know it's good value for money, you also know, though it's rarely mentioned, that the service will be superb, fast and efficient. The Red Lion is in the middle of Doncaster next to the Market, we'd been in earlier in the week and there was plenty of customers a good mix of young and old, so we decided to try it at the weekend, it's race day in Doncaster, the pub was even more full but not rowdy the crowd was from late teens early twenties to much older people, I'm in my mid seventies I don't think I was the oldest in there, I had a pint of Vienna dark lager, which was terrific and under £2 a pint.nA fabulous mid day drinking experience.nHighly recommended.
Well priced. Room clean . Everything you need supplied. Bed v comfortable. Mugs in room can be used in pub a bonus. Food and drink Spoons prices . Can't ask for anything more.
A well ordered,courteous & efficient establishment .An informed & patient customer focused staff assisted me in my choice of lunch Afterwards, I as I always do, had a chat with the Manager,a most appreciative individual and thanked her & her staff for their service.
A lovely pub, served a lovely breakfast. It was very close and convenient for my visit in Doncaster and I would happily go there again. I didn't have accommodation here so I can't comment on what the rooms are like.
