Our first visit today and was very surprised. All the staff were very helpful and polite. The screen and sound were excellent but the best thing was the price. We’re be going back
Nice and cheap, lovely helpful staff and well located. Only downside is cleanliness. Seats filthy and screen 2 had a similar smell to an elderly person' s rest home! Needs urgent attention as other screening rooms are not clean either. Get that right and would be 5
Cold but comfortable seats and great film. Because of the high cost of heating, and not many people in the cinema in an afternoon showing, I really understand why there was no or little heat. I would go again but wear a thicker coat next time.
Edit: Just changed from 4 star to 5 star after thought and pondering. We brought our 3 year old daughter here for the first time to watch Matilda. To be honest I was a bit sceptical about the quality of the place before we came to Reel as the price of tickets were extremely cheap and usually cheap means not good/great quality. However I was pleasantly surprised. The team were accommodating and assisted perfectly when we had an issue with our popcorn daughter chose the salty popcorn and realised she doesn't like salty popcorn [even after I told her she wouldn't like it] they replaced it with no questions asked and we had a joke about it. The seats are well positioned so you can see the screen effectively even for a 3 year old which was great. And the movie quality was great, loud but not too loud and the general auditorium was a relaxed atmosphere. The only thing which I would say they need to work on but that is just me with my OCD so please feel free to ignore it is to make sure the screen is aligned properly, it was slightly skew either side Cinema 4, but otherwise didn't effect the viewing experience. It was just something I noticed a few times while watching. Other than that, a great viewing experience and we have decided to come back every month with our daughter to watch something obviously needs to be kid friendly though, haha! But seriously, thank you guys for the wonderful experience with our daughter for the first time. We all really appreciate it and the work you put in to make it magical for her!
Enjoyed myself because the film was great, but the place felt like it was on its way out, the place was all shut up when we got there only 10 mins before the film started, so the ice drink I'd purchased wasn't frozen, and the ladies toilets stunk like dirty drains and half the cubicles where locked permanently.
Good place to be, i like the fact that most of the times the cinemas are not full..you get lots of empty seats . Good customer service, very friendly staff.
Great to have this cinema local and not as expensive as some of the others. Shame it doesn't get enough support as it's comfortable shows all the new films around at the time.
Good to be back in our local cinema. Covid one way systems for entrance & exit, though you have to go through the exit on the ground floor to use the automated ticket machines not too much of a problem with very few people in circulation. On entrance you can easily miss the hand sanitizer on the wall right hand side, we did. Snacks and drinks paper straws provided are available. We enjoyed the quality showing of Peter Rabbit 2 as a family, the first time in a year; we will be back. 20220531. Back again for Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore. No covid measures required. Easy to book online for an e-ticket with a QR code. Cinema presentation very good. 2 very happy customers; I hope the hot dogs are back in stock next time we visit. 20221218. Back to Reel for my first ever 3d film, Avatar Way of the Water. As the lift was working took advantage as my legs don't climb stairs so well these days as everything is on the first floor. Ticket check in is now at the same desk as where you buy your snacks. Tickets were easy to order through the website. Auditorium and seats nice and comfy to enjoy a great film.
A little dated, but I don't go there to look at the decor. When you get great value tickets for the blockbusters you don't mind paying over the odds for popcorn. Go to a 2010 viewing and by the time you come out, the parking is free. Happy days.
Nice cinema, not one for those who don't enjoy slightly smaller screens though. They aren't tiny but some of the screens are smaller. Great portions for the popcorn, staff are always really nice. Great ticket price, especially in the week. Seats could do with a bit of work as they are a bit run down. Food next door with nandos and a slug and lettuce and wetherspoons only seconds away so a good place for an evening. All in all a really nice cinema.
