"Showing the best blockbuster and independent films, Harbour Lights Southampton Picturehouse is a two-screen cinema and bar overlooking the harbour in Ocean Village.Harbour Lights is a landmark building by architects Burrell Foley Fischer which first opened its doors in February 1995. The design clearly celebrates the heritage of Southampton docks, its famous Ocean Terminal and the heyday of glamorous travel by luxury liner.Recipient of a Civic Trust Commendation in 1997 and shortlisted for a RIBA award for architecture, the cinema itself was voted Britain's Best-Loved Independent Cinema in 2000 by the readers of Empire Magazine - the first and only time they awarded such a title."

Always a pleasant trip when we go to this cinema. Great to have the bar downstairs. Plenty of food and beverage options. Parking is not normally an issue but it can get busy. Would choose this over most other cinemas on the South Coast. Sure I'll be back many more times in the future.
Just the best cinema ever. Friendly staff - all enthusiastic about film. Feels like everyone involved actually loves the place. Great atmosphere. Comfortable seats. Good sound and projection. I often see stuff simply because it's on at this venue and have discovered some gems as a result. Never had a bad experience with other punters either which is sadly rare in places of public entertainment these days.
We went to the screen 2. Surprised to see that it's very tiny especially if you book the sofa in the back. I suggest that you book somewhere in the middle row if going for this and be mindful that it is a small screen. It's good for low budget movies which doesn't have lot of visual affects. The bar and Cafe is good and staff is very friendly. During the movies time very dim warm white lights are turned on from the top which I prefer to be turned off. I was impressed with the sound system in this screen, it is of a good quality surround system. Overall it's a good experience and I would recommend this for a pleasant experience.
Here it's real time indie cinema at its best 2 good size screens and comfy roomy seating. Good choice of marine placing set right into its trendy design and a busy car park, and inside a relaxed style and cafe/bar setting.
I love Harbour Lights. The café is good and decent reasonably priced pizzas are recommended. I joined the membership scheme - you get money off and it effectively pays for itself after 5 films. And the discount means each film is around £8.50 - bargain
Such a great cinema - clean, comfy, calm and always something new challenging different and stimulating to see - highly recommend
My happy place! Such a lovely cinema. Have always been full of care for their customers so expected nothing but excellent COVID preparations and got just that. Always shows a diverse range of films, comfy seats, good range of food and drinks and the staff are very helpful. When I chose to host my 40th birthday there last year they went out of their way to help and accommodate my wishes.
Watched my friends new film there. First time I've ever been there lovely cinema
Modern building suited in a lovely spot over looking the marina. Not your bigger style of cinema with smaller theatres. Art deco but up to date, serves great coffee too. Well priced around. Comfortable and spacious seating
I would just like to say how fantastic the staff our in the Harbour lights picture house. Liam was so helpful hus customer service was excellent and is a credit to your company. Thank you Liam for helping me get a tickets lovely lunch, plus sorting out my phone. Ann
