Fantastic morning/matenée with my family for my daughter's Birthday party. She had friends that came too so we kind of took over the place at one point. I thought the staff were really excellent: friendly and conscientious - and really helped to make my daughter's day. Thank you!

Went to the Odeon at Port Solent, tried to buy tickets from the ticket machine and the machine failed in allowing you to select seats on the screen? Tried several times and could not select seats to buy tickets! When trying to select seats there is no indication either as to where the cinema screen is in relation to the seating plan? We queued up at the counter not exactly knowing if it was for just food or food and tickets (no signage)? We asked a member of staff about the ticket machine and he seemed clueless on why they were not working? Did finally get an answer at the food/ticket counter that the machines keep crashing when it is busy... In summary we never got to see what move we intended to see in all of the faff in buying some tickets and just found the whole experience at the Odeon cinema miserable. To the management of Odeon, ‘sort out your ticket machines, signage and educate your staff’ - mainly for other customers as I shall be going to Vue cinema at Gun Wharf next time!

Cinema quite clean & tidy and usually quiet early afternoons when schools are not on holidays. With an Odeon card you can collect points towards ticket or snacks discounts! 😅

Very friendly staff which is always a nice suprise, only complaint was that the AC was a bit high and so was cold throughout the film!

I used to visit this cinema for every major movie with my brother. Staff are great and it's close to where i live. Unfortunately they have all but stopped showing new films in 3d which is one of the big benefits of going to and cinema for us. I hope they go back to showing 3d movies in 3d again. Until then will be going else where.
