I have been here quite a few times now to get issues with my bike sorted and every single time I get the best customer service. The owner Lee is amazing, always willing to help with anything. His knowledge of bikes is outstanding. I have been to him for a couple of custom bikes and every time he comes through. He really is the 'Albert Einstein' of bikes. You will not be disappointed if you come here. He exceeds my expectations every single time. His charming friendly witty tone also add to the experience which is second to none. I would definitely recommend this place best place in the whole of Surrey to get your bike needs sorted. Love this place
Do not go here if you can avoid it…Terrible service. Not welcoming at all. It feels like they are not interested unless you are paying… We went to ‘Recycles Bike Shop’ looking for some simple friendly advice. That's acceptable isn't it? Both times the man just didn’t seem interested. He wasn’t keen to help or have a look at the issue with the bike. He just stood there with body language which suggested we were an inconvenience. HELLO???...... a potential customer stood here looking for your help!! NOTHING. He just listed the potential things that could be wrong with our bike and the price to have a look at it. I would expect a friendly can-do approach from a bike shop. Not someone just looking to charge even to have a quick look. For example, we went up the road 3min walk round the corner to Surbiton Cycles. They were friendly/welcoming and most importantly put us at ease. They fixed the issues in 20 seconds and gave us the advice needed. No money was exchanged but we gave a tip anyway. We now going there regularly for all bike maintenance and support. This is such a shame as we are local and my family own multiple bikes. I would say don’t waste your time here if you are looking for advice. They are only really interested if you are paying. Head up the road to Surbiton Cycles for a better service overall.
Lee was very helpful, he sold us 2 bikes at a great price, he threw in a few extras to make sure we had everything we needed. Great service even when we went back again. Highly recommended him and the shop.
Great service a good bike mechanic here. My Trek Hybrid was a write off before Lee reconditioned it and got me back on the Rd. Rides like new now. Much better than any other bike shop in Kingston.
This is an awesome bike shop. They sold me a second hand Scott mountain bike for a very reasonable price - cheaper than you would expect to pay on e-bay and everything about it works perfectly. They serviced a Dawes Galaxy tandem of mine in a very reasonable time, at a great price and threw in a new saddle for free. They seem hard-working, trusting people and deserve all success in their business.
Definitely worth taking any bike problems here. He is friendly. Straight forward and will get the job done well. He also has a great selection of bikes he has done up to sell. If I ever need another bike I know where I am going.
Lee is one of the best cycle mechanics in Surrey,if you need your bike fixing,reconditioned or upgrading,he's the man. If you want a bike second hand for the road,off road etc then Lee can find you such a bike to suit your needs at a reasonable price too. Been coming to this shop for years and always had quality workmanship for a good price too.
Fantastic service. Brilliant workmanship. I had no hope for my beautiful tandem bicycle after it had been hit by a bus parked outside JL Kingston. The whole back of the bike was crumpled. Nonetheless the bearded mechanic at recycles somehow bent the steel frame back in shape and serviced her. All for a very reasonable price. I now have a practically new bike. Couldn't be happier
Should have written up about this outfit a few years ago! but never got enough time to do so. Having said that, the Specialized Sirrus Pro I purchased from here those few years ago! is still running beautifully after several thousand miles, and shows very little wear overall. All the original fittings tyres included are still in place. Definitely got my money’s worth & have since recommended many folks to give this shop top priority. Many thanks for your service.
Best bike shop in London. Lee is super helpful and this is how all bike shops should be. Reuse and recycle to give customer best prices and effective results. Unthinkable that anyone would go to a big branch bike shops like Evans when there are gems this this in the community .Could not recommend more
