Very bad experience… Had to wait for an hour even after a booked appointment. It was a simple wheel alignment but my car was taken inside after an hours wait at the reception. The guy who carried the work was handling the front desk duties simultaneously. Hate to see someone work on my car with phone in the other hand answering reception calls that too after waiting for so long. See you never!!!
Terrible service and unacceptable treatment to customer over the phone. Dear all Two weeks ago I dropped my car at Halfords Hounslow, London for a MOT service. It didn't pass for a minor light in the side mirror failure that needed to be replaced. The mechanic told me that they would get the piece in two days or so. Now it passed 17 days since then and nobody is calling me back despite insisting. The operator at the telephone seem not kind at all, like they don't care about the urgency of this matter. I definitely will not use this service ever again, at leats at Hounslow garage. I tried to have my MOT passed even 14 days before the deadline and now still waiting for that insignificant piece that never arrives. The mechanic made me feel that they would get it in two days. I don't know what to do or how can I get help. I hope this review is useful to improve the service of Halfords and to improve the way the treat the customers too.
Originally booked my break checks a week ago at 11:30 when I arrived Stuart at reception was eager to send me away, I told him I’d wait but he said it’s going to take a few hours because there are other cars. His solution was to book for today at 8:30 which he booked for me. His reason was that because I am booking at 8:30 I’d be one of the first and I wouldn’t have to wait long. I arrive today and he told me to leave the car because it won’t get looked at anytime soon even though he specifically told me to book for 8:30?!. Any question I asked him he couldn’t give me an answer and couldn’t explain properly. Completely wasted my time and annual leave. Why have an appointment services if you cannot honour them ? We also have work commitments that we have to attend to. Completely unprofessional!! Will never recommend. Seems like due to Stuart they would rather put you off so they don’t have to work as much.
Absolutely terrible service. Not going again. This one store is enough to ruin Halfords image. They not even sure what they have done on the vehicle when you go and ask them on the very next day. Hard to deal with them because they don't want to listen to the customer and they just have there own script to narrate. Rubbish.
I stopped using this place as the service wasn’t the best and staff were rude. However I used it today as they were the only ones who had an appointment and was greeted by Lewis who provided excellent service and guidance. Thanks to Lewis for the excellent service and for regaining my trust in Halfords Autocentre Hounslow.
Having had a break warning might come on, along with the ABS warning light too, I was concerned to get it sorted out. I rang in on Monday, to get an appointment, and was offered today Thursday to get a diagnostic check. The service I received was excellent, and Stuart was extremely professional and helpful, especially when I was told the brake pump needed replacing and the cost was over £2.5K His attitude and suggestions that a payment plan was on offer was of huge benefit. Instead of having to sell my body for research, I can now breathe and pay it off monthly over a period of time. The part in question has been ordered, they will fit it and do my MOT too. Today they checked my tyre pressure and added some oil too. It’s not often you get customer service like this in garages, and I wanted to stand up and be counted. Well done to Stuart and all the team.
Been there for a car diagnostic. Quite a long time to wait but worth since you got a positive result. Stuart was helpful and well explained about the report.
I appreciate the man who helped me from the reception of Halfords-Hounslow. I booked an appointment for the free tyre check from my Halfords account for yesterday 02-11-2023 for 13:30. When I went there by taking half day leave from my job and my partner also did the same half day leave from the job as well, they replied me that your appointment is being cancelled due to some reasons on the app. But the Halfords app or the Halfords software didn't send me an email or an SMS for the cancellation for the particular day or the day before. At last a receptionist from the Halfords-Hounslow took his precious time to join me for the check up of my car tyre. He was a great man with a good knowledge. I appreciate him heartily for the good gesture for a keen help. May be he will get the good opportunity for what the steps he is climbing for. Thanks SR
One of the worst amateur tyre fitting service I have ever seen. My 4 year old would do a better job. If this is how they fit a tyre, I wonder what happens under the bonnet during a service. Absolute bunch of cowboys. Keep away!!!
