A diverse, beautiful park with stunning views of London Skyline - you can get lost walking in there for hours and just enjoy the serene park life while being on the edge of central London! It’s beautiful to spend the summer months reading under a tree, picnics with loved ones or swimming in the outdoor ponds
I love this place! We had a wonderful day out. It is a perfect place for picnics and a relaxing walk around the heath. You can swim in the pond too, but you must be a competent swimmer - it is very deep and cold! - - or so I was told.
This place is awesome! Nature's beauty bestowals here should be seen. I visited in autumn and was blown away by the serenity, the loveliness and amazing environment. It's one of London's iconic spots... you should visit. See some pictures! Playground: Ample space for play and relaxation for children and adults alike. Restrooms: Available conveniences for public use should you need to answer nature's call Dog-friendliness: Good place to walk the Picnic area: You'd enjoy the plenty of grassland for picnics. Family days would be awesome here!
A beautiful park that is suitable for the whole family. There are many trees and lawns. A nice playground for small childeem. A corner with many animals, which can be seen through the fence. The children enjoyed running on the paths, climbing trees. A great place to hang out and enjoy nature
Personally I think is one of the most beautiful parks London has to offer. The landscapes are breathtaking and the vivid colours are just mesmerising. It is amazingly well preserved and maintained. A breathe of fresh air and a sunbath is all you need to fully recharge. You can spot different landmarks from within central London. Playground: The whole park can be a playground for children. You don't need toys in thos place. Restrooms: Restrooms are opened and available. Dog-friendliness: Dog owners can easily come here but they are advised to keep them on a lead as they can potentially disturb the wild life. Picnic area: You can have picnics as long as you leave the place the way it was.
I visited here for the first time during the summer this year. Amazing walk around across the ever so green fields! With numerous beautiful trees above blowing beautifully through the air! The walk to see the view of London city was well worth it! even though it was rather tiring getting to the top of a deep hill. For me it was anyway! Haha! :D Be sure to wear proper hiking boots for the long walk journey! : Lovely atmosphere with people enjoying themselves, walking their dogs and relaxing on the beautiful green! : I would definitely recommend this place! <3
Fantastic park with beautiful views of London. Clean, nice walk ways and forest bits. Dog loved it. A fantastic morning out
I was very surprised by how big the heath is. I was expecting a large park, but this is massive! More like a wood than a park. Large open green fields and closed wooded areas and a lake pond too. Friendly locals and dog owners too. Dog-friendliness: It is a very dog friendly park heath and I was pleasantly surprised by how considerate and conscious the dog owners were
Absolutely love the Heath! Massive green space in London, nice views of the city, feels very safe and peaceful. The viewpoint and entryways to the park tend to get a bit crowded on a sunny day especially weekends but it gets better the further you walk into the park, where you'll find people walking, jogging and walking their dogs. Leave your fancy shoes at home - it can get quite muddy There are public toilets near to the tennis courts as well.
Fantastic sceneries, a hill top park where you able to see the whole London. Lots of nice wedding picture could be taken over there. Dog-friendliness: Dog can be seen Picnic area: There are public chair in the area
