Doctors are good nurses are great, reception is ok, prescriptions/pharmacy is poor, appointments can run 40 minutes plus late at times, prescriptions can be at the chemist near the co-op, even if you don’t want them there at the surgery, or not ready at all, sometimes it can be all 3 at the same time, online prescription ordering can just go missing, so you wait 48 hours, and nothing is ready. latest incident, need a certain medication permanently, was only given 12 days worth, filled in a repeat prescription online, with a note to explain that I needed more and why, it took 4 days for it to be declined, so I went to the surgery, to be told I can’t have anymore, till next month, explained again to be told, oh yes we have the request, it will be ready tomorrow, next day got a call to say, “you can’t have any you need to see the doctor, could not get a phone call appointment for 3 days, doctor was great and could get prescription ready that day, I was 10 days without medication. Nearly forgot, I was waiting on the phone, for reception and I was number one in the queue, for 12 minutes, while waiting, I rang from another phone and was answered straight away, while the other phone was still in a queue of one.

The Doctor's and all the staff at Brixworth are like a breath of fresh air after my last doctor's!!!
