Up untill the past 2 weeks I couldn’t really complain about the surgery infact I quite liked it. Amazing how things can change so quickly. I’ve had the unfortunate experience of a very rude and patronising receptionist. After dismissing my completely when I originally called she told me to call today to see the duty DR. Low and behold it was her I got through too, she completely retracted her original advice and said she couldn’t give me an appointment. She said she would call back after speaking to a DR but hasn’t. I maybe wouldn’t mind so much if the issue I’m having wasn’t potentially caused by one of the doctors.

I spent 2 hours waiting to get my prescrition from the nurse signed by my doctor, as it hasnt been prescribed ever before. The receptionist told me to wait.. i waited 20 min and I walked up to her.. she told me it usually takes time and sent me back to wait.. in the end she forgot about me.. when I finally got pissed off and walked up to her she smiled and said.. Oh I though you left. When i sat in the front sits the hole time.

I had to sign up to this surgery after moving down from yorkshire. I haven't even had an appointment yet but I can tell you right off the bat that one of the receptionists I had to speak with was awful. Rude and condescending, not exactly what you're going to want when you're poorly. How she still has a job front of house for any organisation I have no idea!
Looking for a new surgery because I don't need that.

I have been at this surgery for nearly 6 Years, The first 4 years I believed that there service was brilliant however the past 2 haven't been great, this year I have had problems with them, I rang up on the 23rd of June to book an appointment to see a doctor and was told that I needed to ring back on Mondays to book which I thought was odd but I went with it, what with moving house and my job I was unfortunately unable to do so until today the 10th of July which I was then told to ring back tomorrow to book an appointment, I wasn't asked both time what was wrong with me for all they know I could have been at deaths door which luckily for me I don't believe I am, so I shall try again tomorrow, however I think in my own opinion that the system they run needs a lot of work because I should be able to book an appointment at any time, not on certain days of the year!

Been with this surgery since i was knee high to a grasshopper (little). I have never had one bad experience with them. I cannot praise the Doctors and Nurses enough. All wonderful! And other staff i have met have always been brilliant too. I dont think i could ever change my surgery, I would miss The Pines too much.
