Nice area, shame about the amount of noise from other guests. Staff on the Saturday and Sunday day shift were really lovely and very helpful. Staff on the Saturday night shift did nothing to encourage other guest to be quiet. Pretty sure this was being used by people as temporary accommodation and they were not bothered with booting each others doors in the middle of the night, arguing about cigarettes and slamming doors. Such a shame as the lakeside location is very pretty. Would not stay here again.

The beds in Premier Inn are fabulous - Queen size and so very comfortable. The hotel has a lake at the rear and the Toby carvery next door serves all you can eat breakfast from seven to eleven in the morning, carvery from midday. Near to st Helens town, friendly staff, very reasonable rates, I'll stay again.

Great location. Rooms at the rear overlook the peaceful and tranquil lake. No noise from the other guests but the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night due to a fault.Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. The seperately owned Toby Inn next door is timeworn and serves only carvery food in the evening. If you want choice try Lymewood Farm, Haydock just off the East Lancs on the other side of the road.

Come up from Somerset with my girlfriend susan and son to see her family and propose to her. She said yes . very quite and comfortable stay , staff very nice , very nice room and bed , beautiful view of the dam out the window , no noise from other rooms. Would recommend this place to anyone and will defo book again . thank u to the staff, Chloe was very helpful with places to eat and visit for popping the question,

Can't wait to go back , made my engagement weekend with a nice stay ,lots of nice places to eat in st Helens apart from the glass house where the staff and management r rude and don't care and r abusive . I will give premier in 6 stars , all staff very helpful, lovely stay , as soon as u walk in the door u r greeted with a big smile . thank u all
