Last minute stop over, only booked on-line when we were 5mine away. Staff couldn't be more helpful in setting up our room with a sofa bed and a travel cot for our kids. Room was comfortable and great value. Staff at breakfast we're just as lovely and helpful, top marks!

The definition of mediocre. The rooms themselves are nice, but expect to be denied basic amenities like hand towels for "cost cutting measures". Instead of typical hotel toiletries, there's a green liquid that stands in for hand soap, shower gel, and shampoo, but the mold growing in it was enough to warn me off. Additionally, our keys had a habit of reprogramming themselves at random, and all the desk staff needed was a room number before they happily cut us a new key. It certainly wasn't the worst hotel I've stayed in, but unless you're out of options, keep looking.

Breakfast is extra if you want a proper one even if booked. Room was grubby and noisy. Fake wooden floors are nasty and decor is not homely. Table is far too small to be comfortable to use. Despite checkout advertised 12:00, by 9.30, 3 people had tried to come in. 2 sachets of coffee for a double room is not enough. Shower room has nowhere to put your soap and water temp fluctuates wildly. Bed was comfy though. Won't be rushing back.

Budget hotel, so don't expect more for the price you pay. There is no bath tub and shower does not have any tray or door so it becomes very messy and wet everywhere. The bed sheets and the quilt were plain white colour, so it felt like I was in a hospital. i believe the room service also did not carry out proper cleaning as I noticed long hair on my bed sheet and also in towel. lucky there was spare bath towel so used that one. On plus side the food in restaurant was really good. Breakfast is complementary and is basic but you have an option to upgrade by paying extra.

Always check before hand whether they are hosting coach trips as it will mean hotel is busy and some facilities unavailable eg... Xmas parties (even November) mean loud music and no restaurant / bar. Good continental breakfast..charge for adding on some cooked bacon etc is excessive. Rooms fine for a short stay.
