I am impressed by the service and facilities provided. I really need to appreciate the members of staff for their professionalism. They treated everyone of us who came around with courtesy and made our stay worthwhile. It is also central to almost everywhere we needed to visit during our stay in Wigan and I definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to lodge when they visit Wigan.
Nice central location for a Premier Inn, opposite car park and within easy walk of town centre and park.nVery friendly staff who go out of their way to be helpful, friendly and kind, which is much appreciated. I arrived when they were handling a challenging incident with a guest in a very professional manner, going above and beyond for other guests.nRooms were typical high standards of Premier Inn and breakfast was really good.
Great room and amazing service, especially during breakfast on Sunday morning! The male staff member who looked after us was absolutely fantastic , Friendly, attentive, and made our breakfast experience truly special. Highly recommend Premier Inn Wigan!
Staff was really good, they found out it was our 2 yo daughter birthday. They put a teddy with a happy birthday card on the table. Beautiful gesture
The hotel was nice enough, just as you'd expect from a Premier Inn, comfy beds, clean & tidy, nice aircon in summer etc, but the staff on reception was not very helpful at all, she didn't mention anything about the amenities available, nor about breakfast for the following morning, she didn't even point us in the direction of our rooms, we were simply left to work it out ourselves using the signage.nThere was a good choice of breakfast and it was a 'help-yourself' arrangement from a hot plate bain marie setup, breakfast was served from 6:30 and it was nice when it was freshly cooked but not sure what it would've been like if you arrived later for breakfast.nParking is extortionate but there are cheaper alternatives in close proximity, however those other carparks look a bit rough, in fact the whole area surrounding the hotel looked a bit rough, and I was a little worried about the safety of my car in the 'other' carpark overnight!nOverall an OK hotel, it served it's purpose, but improvements on the meet and greet service are needed I think.
