Room was a little tired. Breakfast was first class. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. A very friendly atmosphere. Overall I'd be happy to recommend it. If in the area would definitely use it again.

Really lovely welcome but that’s were it ends!!! Raw chips.. and when I told the guy in the bar he just looked as though I was trying to get money off.. no just telling you the food was not cooked!!! Shower not working properly No tv remote Breakfast swimming in fat.. I’m looking for something else nice to say.. oh carpark was good. And the exit was the best bit. At no point did I ask for a discount!! Just to tell you!!! Sorry but dreadful

One star because the bed was comfy and thats all i can say was good about this place. The rooms are in need of major refurbishment, furniture all chipped or broken. Cob webs, sloping bedroom floor, trickle of water from shower, cistern wouldnt stop running. The food was average, nothing special. The customer service we got from ollie was a total disgrace, he gave us the wrong wine and when it eas brought to his attention, well that was it, the toys were out the pram. Not once did he ask how our food was, did we want any sauces, nothing at all. Then he was to busy talking to the receptionist that after 40mins waiting on the bill we had to go lut to the receptionist and ask for it. Ollie broight it out and just threw it in front of us. Terrible service and all round bad experience.

Rooms are dated, but clean and warm. Got back at 10.00pm hoping for a relaxing nightcap and the bar was shut despite being a group booking of about 15 rooms!
