Literally the best location for what we needed. A few minutes from the venue at the wedding we attended, carpark across the road and bars and restaurants a stone's throw away. The bed is amazing and a good sized room. Fast check In, a nice bar and really friendly staff. Could not fault it!

Overall our two night stay was ok. Clean, spacious wheelchair accessible room etc. However, there was a few disappointments. On the first night we came to make a hot drink before going to bed at around 10.30pm. The kettle wasn't working. We rang through to reception and we were told another one should be brought up to us straight away. We waited for over an hour and a half and then gave up and went to bed. We then asked again at breakfast and then it was replaced. No apology was made for the night before. The second night we had a meal in the restaurant. Yes it was 8.45pm but were told that last orders were 9.30 so that was ok. There was only us and one other couple in, but our food(a sharing platter) still took over half an hour to arrive. After we had finished we were asked did we want desserts. We had already said before ordering that we did. She then came back from the kitchen to say kitchen was now closed, so no desserts or coffee. No Apology again was given. This kind of service tainted our overall view of our stay

Great location, near to the Riverside bars and restaurants. Not much parking and what there is is expensive. Room was fine. Breakfast help yourself type affair. Was all I needed.

Quite a nice hotel, facilities are good. However rooms could be considered not value for money because of the high price. Overall a nice hotel and I personally would stay again.

Great hotel near the center of reading. 5 min walk from the shops, bars and restaurants. Rooms are good. Most of all I apreciated the service this team brings. The reception guys made me feel very welcome and the ladies in the restaurant were working hard to attend to every guests wishes with a honest smile and a some small talk. The truffle burger with mushrooms tasted very well. Thank you.
