Visually this hotel needs some work but it was the cheapest hotel by far. Not far from where I needed to be. Rooms were clean, food was lovely, bed was very comfortable and the staff were all very nice. Great size car park too. I would stay again if I go to Reading.

You get what you pay for here. The sheets and towels were clean but the rooms were pretty tired looking and the mugs/glasses in the room had not been washed properly. Breakfast was basic but free. The bathroom was dated and needed a proper clean but there was plenty of hot water. Stayed for work, would not stay there by choice.

I only chose this hotel because I needed to sleep 1 night only in the area. I still regret not getting an Airbnb. This hotel is filthy, the carpets throughout the whole location hasn't been vacuumed since the 60s, even in the rooms, you feel a strange sensation when barefoot. The rooms are outdated, they haven't been redecorated since probably the 60s. There were only 2 toilets, and 1 shower on the entire floor I was on. It was communal, and the doors nearly broken. If you don't value security in this establishment, then go here. The only upside was the free breakfast, I was in a rush in the morning and wanted a very fast meal before I run to the checkout. The upside was that the meal was made quickly, not enough to fill yourself but a "breakfast" nonetheless.

I have experienced the worst customer service from this hotel in Reading, and will caution anyone who wants to lodge there to think twice. I lodged in this hotel in December when i came for my graduation. HOTELS were fully booked. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. My check out from this hotel brought the worst nightmare for md, as i nearly missed the flight back home. When lodging there i ordered some items from Amazon, nd were delivered for me at their reception. Even when i tracked my items it shows the name of their staff who received my things. Upon enquiry the hotel claims they havent received anything for me, and are not responsible for any customer deliveries. I left the country nd i call the hotel everyday looking for my things from that staff member. They will say 'call tomorrow' and am calling everyday nd no one hasnt got my things. WHAT KIND OF A HOTEL IS THIS?

Nice staff good food. Good hotel for working people who coming to work in reading. Feeling like home.
