I stayed in the Gamer Suite, it was fantastic. Staff were great, food was good (I have been raving about the club sandwich since I had it, genuinely the best I have ever had). Location is good. Only issue is parking (I travelled by train, so it didn't affect me directly). There is a car-park a few minutes walk away which the hotel will give you a discount for, but no actual hotel car-park.

We stayed overnight on a Saturday. The entrance hall and bar area we nicely themed and the staff were pleasant, there was a bit of a wait to check in but not too bad. There was only one of the two lifts working which made getting up and down a bit slow. The room itself was fine, beds were large and comfy and there was complimentary water and coffee. Good value for money.

I came here for drinks after work, the bar looks great and plenty of comfortable and quite quirky seating. They also have a mini games section with a pool table, fuzball table and games console. They also have T.V.s and show some sports. The service was particularly good, the bar person Becca was very attentive and helpful.

Nice hotel. Chic surroundings. Great music in bar and restaurant (if you like an Ibiza Chillout vibe). Food is nice but VERY pricey. I ordered lady fillet steak - it was 2 inches wide (I've literally never seen a smaller one). I asked what it came with - 6 cherry tomatoes! Chips - an extra £4, I asked for a salad garnish (yes really, a garnish) told no, but I could buy a salad - another £4 - I think not. Pepper sauce was also extra (I didn't ask how much)... But I have enjoyed my stay. 😊
