Clean and tidy hotel, well situated for links into Newcastle and the coast. Typical standard for Premier Inn. Have extended hotel with more modern and up-to-date rooms. Modern rooms are very smart with big showers (separate instead of being over a bath) and good decor. Pleasant staff on reception. Food/breakfast good at adjoining pub. Have stayed numerous times and will continue to stay here when we visit.

Although one of the newest premier inns it is also probably the only one I've ever given 3 stars to. Room cold and you need to have a science degree to work out the heating in the room. Temperature said 18 I pressed arrow up until it read 24 then it waited 10 seconds and went back to 18. No way to override programme. Breakfast - cold veggie sausages, cold mushrooms, one hash brown. Waiting staff pleasant but will use a different premier Inn next time in Newcastle

The rooms are clean and comfy. The location is a little out of the way and in the middle if a housing estate which is strange! There is a pub/restaurant on site but separate from the hotel itself, but serves delicious food at a fair price and good service. I've had no issues with my overnight stay. Rated 4 star for location. Overall, id stay again.

Room lovely and clean, large as we got an end room. Standard Premier Inn room as we expected, very quiet in the evening. No bath in our room but a large shower.
