We love Playtain, so much to see and do! The staff are so welcoming and as a father it's so refreshing to see the toilet have amazing facilities for males, we often get left out. Also the food is pretty reasonable and good quality!! We will be back!
Playtrain is a great place to visit! Clean, the play equipment is great quality and clearly maintained to a high standard. A huge selection of different things for children of all ages and abilities to use, including a fantastic sensory space and areas for imaginative play. Staff are very kind, informative and inviting. Food is delicious and reasonably priced, and portions are a great size. Toilets are clean and provide changing tables, antibacterial wipes and nappy sacks, as well as stools, small toilet seats and a low sink for younger children to use the toilet independently, and even a small playpen.nThere's heating, ceiling fans and a CCTV screen near the cafe seating area that shows the different areas so you can keep an eye on your children without needing to leave your seat. There's a saftey gate by the reception that is watched by staff to ensure that children can't leave without a parent, so it feels very secure and safe. Front doors opened exactly at the time the session starts, so no need to wait long at all to enter, and they play baby shark to tell parents that the session is coming to an end, which we found fun and helpful. Highly recommend visiting!
Such a great venue. We’ve visited a few times this year with our 4 year old for parties and play sessions. The staff are really professional and friendly. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Lovely attention to detail with the decor, really fun. Great cafe. Good amount of space. Lots of interesting play areas to explore and excellent soft play. A really well run experience.
Such a warm welcome and great facilities.nBoth children loved roaming around and there is so much to do and see. The kids also loved the sausage and mash - so wonderfully presented for them as well!nLooking forward to returning already!
With four kids of vastly different ages, and having moved around a bit for work, I've visited many soft plays over the years, all over the country. This is by far the best!nI was initially put out by being turned away because I hadn't booked, but glad I booked and went back. The booking system ensures you get an allocated table - so no marking territory with bags and watching them like a hawk. It also means it's never too crowded, the staff aren't overwhelmed and they get to do a reset between sessions. So whatever time of day you visit it's clean and organised.nThe provision for smaller children is excellent. There's an area for under 3's, an area for under 8's and then the big free for all frame. There's a sensory room, a parade of pretend shops, a caravan and even a pretend jail for kids playing cops and robbers. So much to encourage imaginative play rather than just charging round on a sugar high. There are even baby rockers, so babies don't have to spend their whole time in the pram. The food and drinks are reasonably priced, and the entrance fee is very good value for money.nI'm not surprised it was voted best in bucks!
