Thorpe Park Resort

Great fun. Wide range of rides. Even managed to find a few that did not give me motion sickness. Food was average but as expected for theme park. Good value for money if booked in advance. Was very busy when I visited but the lines still generally moved really fast aside from one line. Plenty of toilets. Arcade games were simple and fun. A brilliant visit on a sunny summer day.

Great fun,we stayed at the hotel and had two days in the park,hotel was just right with a free breakfast,it could do with some hooks put up on back of doors for jackets and towels in the shower.but apart from that it's was great. The park rides are great and times for rides wasn't to bad,we managed to do all the rides and go on a couple rides twice. Be prepared to pay by card alot as the bar and some food places only take card payments. But all in all a great fun place to visit

There are very long queues for almost every ride.. An hour long and not occasionally but rather frequently, while waiting in the queue for maybe an hour, you suddenly are announced that the ride has malfunctioned or is delayed and then the waiting time can extend sometimes up to half an hour more or you may have to exit the queue all together.. The rides are awesome! But if you don't spend on fast track then be prepared to get your legs extremely tired most of the day waiting in queues for rides of a couple of seconds which may malfunction rather frequently.. I think that fast track becomes rather necessary or you can combine smaller less popular rides with larger more popular rides to cover more of the park and not tire your legs to the point that they hurt.. Small benches in the queueing area are needed i think and i cannot think of a reason why they cannot be there.. I have been here twice now and in the second visit, i had 4 malfunctions unfortunately in a row.. I could not cover a lot due to extremely long waiting times.. Again fast track it is i think..

Great family day out! Not too far to walk between rides with lots of food, drink and amusement choices in between rides. Definitely best to visit during school term to escape the queues. Stayed at the Shark Hotel which was average at best, but good if all you want is a bed for the night. I definitely recommend The Ghost Train, a complete different style of ride to anything I've been on before, just watch out in the gift shop....

First ever visit in 2017 with my adult daughter and 3 grandchildren. They loved it but as a non rider I found there was a lack of seating outside the majority of the rides.(This would make us older people more comfortable while waiting for the rides to finish) We had lovely weather and the vending machines & refreshment stalls were plentiful for us all to enjoy(not all were open when we went as early season) Anyway, the rides were brilliant and my daughter enjoyed going on the more adult rides too while I stayed with the children. We went during the Easter break and the queues weren't bad. Usually the rides would have safety checks every so often and this makes the queues tend to build up but better to have the checks than none at all. The kids can run around in the park between the rides too. Overall, a good day out and really enjoyable.
