Would have been nice for a sunny day. Even through the typical April drizzle it still made for a fun day out. The original model village, Bekonscot has everything you could want - puns, model railway, ride-on miniature railway, a selection of suitably idyllic village settings. When we went there was even an Easter bunny hunt. Decent price for a family of five and the free parking at the church over the road was the icing on the very small model cake.

A delightful afternoon out with a 2-year-old in tow. The model village is extensive, beautifully crafted and full of little jokes and details. There's a small but well thought out playground with slides of varying height and challenge, a cafe with some very nice fresh sandwiches and a miniature train that takes you on a 5-minute journey (costs £1:00). We had a lovely day and I thoroughly recommend this delightful place for a family afternoon.

Great family day out. Kids love looking though the windows to see what is going on inside the buildings. The train track throughout the village is amazing and an envy of many. Very cheaply priced with ample free parking. An amazing layout with so much to see.

I went with my daughter school. We had so much fun I had to look after 4 children. It was easy walking through the little maket houses. There is benches and tables you can bring your own food. They have cafe shop too. Children play area as well. You don't need all day for the model village 2-3 hours will be enough

Fantastic day out for all the family. My 20 month old was fascinated by all the trains going round. £10 entrance fee for adults. Plenty of free parking available at the church opposite. Looking forward to my next visit!
