I never usually write reviews but I've got to say Emilie Jones' comment is a load of old tosh. I was looking at the rabbits with my daughter that day and being a fish enthusiast (having kept them for over 10 years) couldn't help but listen in to the conversation. Firstly she was blaming the filter (clearlt after her money back) stating that it had stopped working and flooded her lounge or kitchen or something The two members of staff were simply saying that it was impossible unless the outlet of the filter was blocked as it sat below the level of the tank meaning that it couldn't have been down to the filter but instead debris of the tank getting stuck in it. I completely agree, how can a tank magically gain water for it to flood?! All I heard from her was "well I'm not getting that filter again, I dont trust it". My recollection was that she also got numerous apologies. I didn't see the end of the conversation but the pets at home staff were polite, professional and knowledgeable as they always have been on each and every one of my visits! Keep up the good work and ignore petty comments like this!

Had to take a fish filter back which had pushed water out of the 25L tank and all over my cabinet and floor. I wasn't expecting to receive any money off but an apology would have been nice. I certainly wasn't expecting a ten minute intergation ending with 'well I just don't see how that would have happened'. Well they needn't worry I won't be bothering them again. I would say at least they look after the animals but seeing as several degus were hopping about the place earlier this year after their hutch door had been left open then I can't even say that. Probably worth supporting local stores who care more Scott their animals and their customers.

Haven't been in here for a long time but after my visit last week I was shocked. The shop has shrank massively in size. Building work going on which looks like there having a grooming room and maybe a vet in site. Still have a fair amount of stock covering 90% of what you'd need too look after your pet. Nice too see they've stopped selling small animals. This hopefully will encourage more people to visit the various rehoming centres in the area to purchase there furry friends.
