Staff are very polite and helpful. the library itself is great. Very spacious. Our favourite part is the children section, the rainbow room. It’s very bright, colourful, kid friendly. Everything is at a child’s height. A good variety of books too. Highly recommend.
This is the first library I have ever visited outside my school. Absolutely loved the peaceful atmosphere, and the wide range of books available.
Books : Outdated and irrelevant books, not one of them sorted properly. Building: Painting chipping off the walls, funky smell and random furniture. I absolutely love libraries and I find it a shame that this one is in the state it is. Better close it down…
it’s has a great selection of books but one specific staff member is extremely loud, i think she is new and has dark red almost burgundy hair. no escaping her conversations even with airpods. i thought library’s were meant to be quiet??
Used to get my books often here, and they have a huge selection of books. Lovely place and definitely worth visiting
Spacious and clean but the loudest library staff ive ever experienced. The girl who was behind the counter had the loudest voice ive ever heard, no escaping her conversation even wearing headphones. Gone are the days of libraries being quiet places to study, impossible here.
A very mean old lady wouldn't let me print 1 page, a boarding pass to my mother, because it was 15 minutes left until they close. I had to leave work earlier so I could make it there before they close. I would have printed it in 2 minutes tops... and she was just repeating herself: the computers are off, the computers are off, not saying sorry or let me explain. We could actually see they are on, and there were people using them. Very disrespectful and mean, not coming back ever again I rather travel to city center.
The people who work there are very nice and the library has everything you need. The only downside is the hours they are open and when they are open. I’m a Year 11 student studying for my GCSEs and Perry Common Library is the closest. But whenever I plan to go to library to do some studying it is never open
The library is usually quiet but the people working at the library often chat quite loudly which distracts me from my studying.They don't have many new books so I would recommend going to a different library if you want to borrow a book.However,the computers there are never fully booked so you can always just turn up and go on them straight away.It's small and tidy!
Went here with my 2 children, my friend and her 2 children. The women working there were rude, the carpet in the children's area was filthy. When we left a member of staff checked the room to see if we had trashed it just because we had children!
