The staff in this library is always talking and talking in loud voices and you are easily distracted by their loud laughs and whispers. Overall, library is good but i wonder what is wrong with the staff.Dont they know the basic essence of library??? Finding a quiet corner and being able to read and work is very hard because of this irresponsible staff giggling behaviour.
Books are in order and are free to borrow, meaning you don't have to pay to borrow it, unless you are planning on keeping it.
Lovely, tidy library with wonderful staff. Every time I have come here the people working here have been so helpful and friendly. They have been consistently patient and kind with both of my children and my children both love coming here. For us it has been a wonderful, welcoming place to visit.
So much info here as well as books the staff are helpful. Support your library before you lose it .
A great library and a really friendly atmosphere. Librarians are wonderful. Only problem is the toilet facilities are not great. They have study spaces but studying there all day is not a possibility because of this

The south Birmingham library is located as it's a two minute walk from the shopping centre. Where are shops and you can get a bite to if you need to. The staff here are very attentive and they deal with responses from the public very quickly. The staff are always extremely helpful, and polite. The whole service provided online is excellent. The library layout and the books are easy to find. I would highly recommend a visit to this very friendly place.
I take my son weekly, he absolutely loves it, they let us take home 20 books at a time now. The staff are amazing and so incredibly kind. My son is moderately autistic and really struggles with public spaces, but luckily it never gets very busy so he finds it really comfortable here. Every weekend they do kids activities or games in the community room next door, although this has stopped the past few months
Great staff - very helpful, and approachable. Also good opening hours too, with extended hours on Thursday. Good location, and easy to get to. Parking also out in front. Generally good environment to study and plenty of computers available. A popular, and a very well utilised resource within the local community by the council.
