This was by far my favourite dining experience, the service was immaculate, staff so attentive, checking up on you, leading you to the bathroom, assisting with seating, explaining the dish and cleaning the table as you go without being intrusive. They seem to know when you want some conversation or to be left alone. I loved the complementary mini dishes as you wait for the starter/desert and the small assortment of cakes that come with the tea/coffee. Nice selection of cheese and really nice complimentary chocolate balls. The venue has a warm cosey feel with semi dim lit spotlight lighting, found it very relaxing, food tasted amazing, bathrooms really clean and I like the use of tablets for the drinks menu. Would definitely recommend. It is very popular so you would want to book in advance. I had a 3 month waiting list. It’s expensive but worth the money in terms of the food and service quality, great place to mark a significant occasion. I can see why it has two Michelin stars! Again can’t thank the service staff enough for their amazing hospitality!
One of the best meal experiences i have ever had. From start to finish the whole experience from the staff to the chefs making our incredible meal, was brilliant. The menu was so incredibly tasty the flavours were out of this world. Great produce, presentation and flavorful. From the nibbles in the bar area to the courses served in the restaurant everything was delivered with passion and excellence. The blue lobster especially was a highlight. Souffle was incredible. Filet steak was perfect. Staff polite, professional and attentive. Delightful dining experience Highly recommended!
Celebrated our engagement here a few weeks ago and from start to finish we had a spectacular experience. We both did the 8 course tasting menu which was a surprise! We also contemplated the wine pairing but so glad we did because it really enhanced the experience. Two Michelin stars and did not disappoint.
Fantastic dining experience. Food was stunning and amazing to look at. Staff were very professional and we were warmly welcomed from start to finish. Enjoyed the tasting menu that delivered exceptional dishes of food for the entire evening. Would consider Aimsir Restaurant Cliff at Lyons a better overall dining experience. Due to the smaller number of diners at Aimsir you get to speak with and watch the Chefs prepare your food and enjoy listening to them explain to you the sourcing of their ingredients and the preparation of your dishes.
Exquisite Its a priceless experience PG is an institution, 40 years & keeps on gathering strength The fact they cater à la carte, set menu & a surprise tasting menu for lunch demonstrates their passion 8 menu surprise menu was a treat. The Duck liver was my favourite. Will be back for more
A special evening with the family. This restaurant is a special place for a treat, for a day to remember! Book it, go for it and enjoy it! You’ll be treated like a king, you will not regret it!!! We took a few pics, just for the review!!! A special thanks to all the staff for making our evening unforgettable.
The dining room is airy and filled with art, but the best art is the food on the plate in taste, texture and presentation. The service is impeccable. This is our third visit in twenty years and the next time we visit Dublin we will be back
Service was really good and the food.. Amazing! Also the sommelier did an amazing job throughout the entire lunch with an excellent winepairing.
One of the best restaurants in Dublin with two Michelin stars. The restaurant is located at the Merrion Hotel. The decor is amazing - inside a Georgian style building, the staff are super friendly and well informed about all the food they serve. The food itself is out of this world. This restaurant is definitely an amazing experience.
This experience was outstanding. 2 star Michelin rated restaurant with amazing food. Enjoyed the fine dining with my son and best friend. No photos, that isn't appropriate for this kind of experience. This was excellent, each and every bite was a taste experience. It opend with a bite curated by the chef, aubergine, curried lentils, and quinoa crisp, this was the most exquisite bite. Starter of blue lobster soufflé on a coconut cream base, mind blowing. My plate was a sea bass on a bed of fennel greens and black truffle. The dessert was a deconstructed apple tart with vanilla creme and glazed puff pastry. For 90 euro this was well worth the outstanding experience. Don't listen to the bad reviews. This isnt ordinary dining.
