We lucked out and were able to get walk in seats. We ordered the 3 course tasting menu. Portions were generous and the smoked salmon was delicious. Perfect place to kick off the evening after a day of walking around
Very nice but specific food you need to like slow cooked meat, although there is a fish and vegetarian dish. Revisited deserts are nice. I recommend the cheesecake.
Great food. Nice modern take on semi Irish cuisine. Staff were excellent - Friendly and experienced. Well worth a visit. Cheesecake desert in the bag and jar is a really novel way to present desert.
The food was delicious, the wine menu excellent and the staff and service were great. We found it very reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.
Exceptional service and food. Perfect for a private party i.e. small wedding, birthday. Fantastic location overlooking Trinity College. Will definitely be back again. Highly recommend.
Great dining atmosphere! Cozy but not too crowded. Tables are quite close to each other though. Food is delight for the eyes and tastes very good as well. They serve in a very timely fashion between starter and main course which is nice. Staff also very friendly.
Had a pleasant dinner at The Pig’s Ear. Food was enjoyable but not wow! and staff very careful and polite. It can get a bit loud and crowded, we stayed upstairs.
The food was excellent but service not so good. We had a big work dinner and most people thoroughly enjoyed all courses. The sunflower seed bread is a must try as is the cheesecake and the crab starter.
