Suesey Street occupies this fine line between approachable and fine dining - and do a superb job. Service was absolutely top notch despite being served by several different servers throughout the night, with attention to detail. The soup I got was marvelous, and the gnocchi had some unexpected elements which I liked! This place satisfies the craving you have when you want to go somewhere and eat a dish you wouldn’t have thought of making at home. Also, the vegetarian and vegan options are a great addition. Environment is classy as well. Overall very positive experience, will be back!
Ate here with my better half on a Saturday night recently - a rare night out for us, and Suesey Street did not disappoint at all! We had a really lovely evening from the moment we received a warm welcome at the door to when we were finishing up our delicious cocktails in the beautiful bar area at the end of our night. In between, we were treated to some delicious food and excellent service. I had the scallops to start, and it was truly amazing - I'd go as far as to say it's the best and good sized scallop starter I've had in a long time. The ribeye for main was top-notch. My wife was delighted to see some vegetarian options on the menu and she was equally happy with what she had. We were too full for desserts, but we each had a cocktail - they were so good, that we finished our night in the bar area and had another! There's a lovely atmosphere in Suesey Street and it's very comfortable. We'll definitely be back!
Really great restaurant, awesome local food, very friendly and professional service, big selection of wines from all over the world. Absolute recommendation if you want to spend a great evening in Dublin.
Yes, yes, yes! Treat yourself to a 5 star dining experience here. We are from Boston and have been able to indulge in high end/luxury dining all over the world. Suesey Street servers and chefs rank up there with the best we’ve had. In addition to what we consider the basics- fresh and phenomenally prepared food and attentive service The service was over the top. We had no less than 5 people tending to us making sure our every need was met and that we felt cared for., the ambience here added to the experience; soft, comfy, quiet with low lighting. We dined inside at a private alcove table but they also serve outside which looked just as magical. Amazing! Keep up the good work!
The lemon cake cocktail is one of the best I’ve ever had! We got great service with fun interactions in a bar that had a wonderful chill vibe. Can’t wait to go back!
Came here twice - first time doing lunch menu. Foie gras as starter was amazing. Beef fillet as main - nice but I’m still thinking foie gras. Chocolate mousse was tasty. Food 9/10. Service 10/10. Atmosphere 10/10. Second time doing group dinner menu. All 10/10. Pork belly was soft and I felt it melting in my mouth. Apple caviar on it was a highlight. Cod as main with risotto I would say the best I have had in Dublin. Creamy. Very rich taste. I prefer lemon cheese cream than chocolate. It just gave you a fresh taste after two creamy dishes.
Staff were really attentive. Food was so so. I had a vegetarian starter of Cauliflower, which was not well seasoned. My husband ordered the Dublin Bay prawns, which were nice but not memorable. For mains I had the gnocchi with pumpkin and mushrooms. It was really dry and underseasoned, generous portion but not particularly appetising. My husband ordered the lamb which was very nice. Overall for the price of the dishes this meal was underwhelming.
Good food and nice atmosphere, however I've ordered my dish clearly stating I don't eat red meat and kindly asked if they could remove the bacon. They agreed, however the dish came with bacon on it, and I had to inform them about that and wait for another dish.
Suesey St is a fantastic restaurant not too far from Stephens Green. This is a restaurant with a contemporary look. Staff are very friendly and polite. The vegan and vegetarian options on the menu were fantastic and there was a vegan dessert that wasn't on the menu a chocolate mouse with nuts, and a raspberry sorbet that was outstanding, I have not had a better vegan dessert and you rarely ever get vegan desserts in restaurants. The waiting staff were knowledgeable about dietary requirements. Highly recommend this place...
Absolutely wonderful! Everything we had was delicious scallop appetizer and filet main. We loved the ambience in the outdoor covered patio, very cozy and chic. The staff were so kind and accommodating! Top notch service! Definitely recommend!
