I know that the doctors and staff are under extreme pressure but its become impossible to use their services. Several months ago my husband was prescribed statins and was told that they'd be added to his repeat prescriptions. He has now had to ask again for the 3rd time for this to happen. How difficult can it be?. He now has a wrist injury which he was told would heal with rest.2 months on & it's worse. He's tried to get an apt over 3 days getting cut off several times. what does one have to do to see a Dr??
Atrocious service. I have serious concerns about their effectiveness to treat patients and refer them to specialists when necessary. I suggest their CQC rating is looked at because I seriously doubt that their Safe rating would come back as Good.
Rang Parkway Medical Centre yesterday as I needed a rescue pack, administrative team so helpful and explained they would send request through to GP.nI received a call from the practice early this morning and was given an appointment to see the GP, I was thoroughly checked out and issued appropriate prescription.nMy experience was seamless, professional and I truly felt I had been listened to.nAll staff treated me with empathy and kindness.
We have always received excellent care from all staff at Parkway. Massive thanks to Dr Kumar and the nurse and receptionist working late tonight 9th Oct who saw my son urgently and made sure he got the medical attention he needed.
Horrendous appointment system...how on earth are you supposed to get an appointment when you work full time and have to ring continuously....been in pain for 2 days now and all I get from reception is sorry nothing available.....call back tomorrow.....no more care for they're patients.
