I'm a new patient and so far so good . I spoke to a lady this morning at 8am to book an appointment . She was nice and even call me back to book me an appointment in person rather than telephone. The really lovely receptionist went out of her way to help me this morning, and was really kind and friendly on the phone - given how much they must have to deal with I really appreciated her being so thoughtful! All of the doctors and nurses I have had appointments with have also been really friendly, and thorough.
This GP has turned its self around and done a whole 360 on their overall health care they provide. I actually left three years ago because the Drs and Reception staff wasn’t the very best. But oh my has all that change. Although nothing is ever perfect, but they are a whole different Clinic now. The best Drs clinic in the area of Anerly and bromley put together. Their rating should change to a 4 star at least. Most Drs are lovely and the reception staff are the best. They have really done well for themselves, I don’t know if they are under new management. But they have done very well. Only improvements I think they need to work on is their administration team. Not the reception staff but admin team. With medical records filing and just getting things on file properly. Maybe the service they use is slow I don’t know , but apart from that very well done. Will be with this GP until I have to leave the Borough. 5 stars, you deserve it.
Some staff are very rude the way they talk to you over the phone, hard to get an appointment, I have been waiting over a month for my appointment with a particular Doctor only to get a message today saying its been cancelled now got to wait untill the 2nd of July for my new appointment, was supposed to have a different Doctor call me today to dicuss blood work. Well, I am still waiting. Going to look for another gp practice.
The receptionists at the NHS receive a lot of criticism. They are always polite, but they end up doing tasks that doctors should handle over the phone, acting as messengers. It often takes years to get illnesses or injuries diagnosed. I eventually sought private chiropractic care for a bulging disk and was diagnosed with asthma after a year. My knee hasn't been sorted for years, and I'm losing trust in the surgery's procedures. While I receive pills for anxiety and ADHD regularly, mental health referrals are scarce due to NHS overload. Despite some help, there's been little healing for my injuries over the years. Private healthcare seems like the next step, despite its cost. I respect doctors, but the system feels overwhelmed, and I'm worried about my future. Many people opt for private healthcare due to similar frustrations, and it feels like we're stuck in a cycle of errors and pass the parcel. This is not good practice with people who. have disabilities update. After four years of complaining about my knee and back, I had an emergency MRI scan by accident, and emergency after a 13.5-hour wait where they found four bulged disks, I am still waiting for a complete body MRI as I'm suspected of having other injuries as well.
Called on thursday they gave me an appointment for 10 am on Saturday . I turned up and there is no one the door are locked , asked the receptionist of the pharmacy they stated it should be open. rang the bell multiple times waited till 11am. clearly they don't care about patient health or work. I took day off to see a doctor. really upsetting on the service given
I had a routine blood test there 13/8/24 the best blood test experience I have ever had not a mark or bruse the most gentle and professional nurse thank you park practice.
I have been with Park Practice since 2019. Receptionist staff are helpful and caring, nurses and doctors have the time to listen, explain and clarify any doubts. Regarding appointments, I can say that I am lucky, once I live nearby it is easy to go there to book.
Dr low always keeps me at ease even though I hate going to the dentist. Always professional and provides a great service
The worst GP surgery I have ever been to, I moved as I had to be in the Bromley borough for my sons assessment as it’s easier, you can never get an appointment the receptionists all think they are the doctors it’s a nightmare, Auckland Surgery is the best and will always be the best I’ve been with the for 15 years and I’m moving back.
