While the GPs and admin staff I have experienced have all been very friendly and helpful there are severe issues getting in contact over the phone. In some instances you can be on hold for an hour or more. Clearly there are staffing problems or too many registered patients to manage effectively. This for me causes no end of problems so unfortunately I cannot provide a more positive review.
I left a review a couple of weeks ago that was a 2 star, but since that, the gp surgery has been much better. The receptionists have been nice and have squeezed me in today when I know they're pretty busy. Whenever I've met with a doctor, they have always been helpful too and professional.
This is the worst GP I’ve had to deal with.. first to register takes forever, you finally see a doctor, he schedules you for tests and the receptionist forgets to book you in with no apologies so you’re referred elsewhere for your tests after waiting a week, they send you a message to contact for your results but the receptionist books you for an appointment for that a month after your test was done and guess what I called twice to confirm the appointment or see if it can be earlier but that’s again mission impossible. So I wait one month and come to the surgery under the rain, waited till forever and nobody showed up.. nobody!!! No communication!! No apology!! Nothing!!! I mean how to do you treat people’s lives and pains so carelessly! I wonder if I’m really in the UK sometimes. Very poor healthcare services.
I registered in 2017, I have a great experience with this GP, I have noticed much improvement since then, very kind, with a beautiful smile, when they know about my mother’s case, they try to find an appointment on the day. Thanks my favourite GP. However, in 2017, I met unprofessional, racist receptionist, just once, and these days I see her again, I hope I will never talk to her, if so, I will ask to talk to another receptionist, as what I did when I had an appointment with a rude doctor, I asked to not have another one with that lady!
Staggeringly poor and unprofessional service in my experience. I sincerely regret registering with this GP. In addition to the fact that the service is clearly oversubscribed appointments are like gold dust for the number of GPs working here you will find it very difficult to actually contact the surgery. I've been frustrated to find that I haven't dealt with the same GP twice and on the couple of occasions I have managed to get a telephone appointment I'm fairly confident that my notes have not been read at all. On top of this I'm yet to deal with any member of the team that shows any level of politeness. Originally thought this was isolated to the reception staff however it seems that this is not the case. On the recent telephone appointments it has been very apparent that the GP is rushed or that they believe I'm completely wasting their time. Either way its fairly clear that they don't really have time to allocate to you as a patient. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I choose to assume this is again a factor of the team being completely overwhelmed. On balance based on my experience I don't believe it would be much of a stretch to go as far as to say that this service is more than likely failing its patients. I believe that the lack of attention to individuals will mean that things are often being missed that should otherwise be being picked up on.
There’s no reason for this surgery to have such a low rating. I have been a patient here for 5 years and the staff have always been fantastic, with exceptional quality care. The reception team in particular are very kind, caring and efficient.
Absolutely ridiculous attitude towards patients. I was trying to ring multiple times but nobody is answering the phone. When I finally got an appointment, they have made me wait for over an hour!!!!!!! Not mentioning the phones kept ringing while the staff was having a laugh deliberately ignoring the patients and the ringing phones! Haven't managed to get their names but it was a heavily obese man with dark hair with a dark skin completion and a skinny woman with brown hair. Disgusting I am demanding their names so I can push this further! Also the attitude that man had and the way he spoke to me is absolutely unacceptable! I will take my complaint further.
Easily the worst GP I have ever been to. Absolutely impossible to even get on to the WAITLIST to speak to someone. Spent 10 mins trying to join the phone queue, got number 15 in the queue and they automatically hang up on you after 15 minutes- literally beggars belief that they haven't fixed this. Receptionists constantly ignoring the phone but chatting amongst themselves casually! If there is ANY way you can possibly avoid joining this GP, do it. I can't believe they've not been held accountable by anyone for being so awful, it's disgusting
It is always very difficult to get through to the surgery, staff are not always very helpful. I decided to finally leave a review after being hung up on yesterday when I was put through to a person, obviously on purpose as it was after I had said hello. This morning, when ringing for an appointment. The receptionist stated there were no physical appointments available today then proceeded to pretend she could no longer hear me and hung up when asked when I could get booked in for.
Zero stars for this surgery!! Very pathetic service. If you want to wasting your important time in life you can do join this surgery. I never seen careless people in my life. My wife appointment cancelled six times. The appointment cancellation confirmand few min before appointment. Sometimes you well get confirmed when you reached there has no appointment today Sorry bla bla bla. Dont have sufficient staff. At reception only enjoying the music instead of focus on surgery works. When you call its waiting time is not make sense hour and hour wait and waist your valuable time. Please close the surgery if you not providing a good service to peoples.
