I joined this surgery in February and they have been outstanding. Responded to questions the same day over text, spent the time to talk through things with me, rather than just moving on to the next person. It's appreciated, the way all surgeries should be.
I feel incredibly lucky to have the best gp and I've been with the Croft for the over twenty-four years now. The reception staff are always so helpful, kind and sympathetic, despite disgusting way they're spoken to at times!! I owe my life and my Son's life to doctors, past and present at the New Croft and have never had a day's trouble with appointments or service
My dad was diagnosed with Alzheimers in 2022. His care at the surgery has been exemplary. The doctors, nurses and staff have always been approachable, considerate and caring. Whilst appreciating there are issues beyond the control of the surgery if my dad has any medical needs he has been promptly seen and treated with concern and respect. Thank you for the wonderful service you provide.
Went in early Friday morning and spoke to an extremely helpful and efficient receptionist who was so incredibly helpful and professional. I went back in later and the issue was resolved so smoothly and she recognised me immediately. Thank you very much
This practice is generally well run and the staff helpful and friendly. I can compare my experience with that of other members of my family who are registered with other Leeds practices and the New Croft is far better for seeing urgent cases quickly. There are a lot of negative comments on this site, probably driven by the fact that people are more motivated to record a bad experience than take the trouble to report good service, which is the expected norm. Yes, it can take weeks to get a general appointment, but for urgent issues, I have always had excellent and fast service. I have never found the staff rude and think that only an abrupt or rude patient would cause the staff to take a firmer attitude towards them. If you treat people how you would like to be treated, you won't go far wrong.
Apart from the difficulty in getting an appointment, I have always found the staff friendly & helpful. I would particularly like to thank Dr Lee & the receptionist who was on duty yesterday afternoon when I had an exacerbation of my COPD whilst on holiday Thank you Denise Carter
Rang surgery at 8 am to be told only one appointment was available all day ! It is very strange that every GP is fully booked by 8am . You are told you cannot book in advance so it feels like you are desperately begging for an appointment . It is very stressful . What is going on. Very sad that it has come to this. It used to be a nice caring efficient surgery.
I cannot rate my doctors surgery high enough! I have experienced excellent care over the last 4 years from doctors, nurses and midwives. Whilst they are sometimes busy their receptionists are really effective at triage and always friendly and compassionate. When it has been more urgent I have had care very quickly.
Worst doctors surgery ive ever been registered with. Cannot register with any other due to catchment area. Receptionists are horrible and lie. And doctors have no clue what they are doing or prescribing. Long appointment dates. Excuses about covid even tho they have been like this for over 6yrs. Ask them why you have such long wAit times only to be told you have a attitude. So they obviously don't like answering questions. Will be reporting this place. Should be shut down and reopened with new staff and owners. Id like to give zero stars but not a option
Doctors and medical staff are all great, major issue getting an appointment. My view is there are too many patients registered and not enough admin staff or Doctors to cover the volume. Possible to book appointments over the phone, if you are OK to wait 4+ weeks. Phone appointments are a long wait with usual result being told nothing available within 2 weeks. Expect to wait 40mins+ from 8am.
