Street Lane Practice

What do you say about the doctors these days. Quiet a wait but that's normal for all doctors, could do with the waiting area making a bit brighter and more inviting. After all they should try to make you feel brighter. They did have a sensory item in the corner but nothing else to keep your kids amused.

It would appear there is no governance in place at this practice to prevent significant breaches in patient confidentiality. My husband currently has all the contact details, NHS number and medical history for another patient after having the wrong letter sent to him. On calling the practice manager to inform her of this breach, it would appear she has a very poor understanding of the governance that should be in place to prevent this from happening. I only have positive things to say about the Drs, physio and nurses that my family has seen in this practice. Unfortunately, the practice management is incompetent, this is not the first time I have had an issue with the practice manager and her practice administration. It appears we only have her word that my husbands' confidential information has not also been shared with another practice patient.

Bad organization, employees are not respectful. If your GP calls you and you tell him about an older problem, don't even bother. You have to come back with 2-3 emails for someone to notice you. They cancel your appointment an hour before you arrive, because the lady at the reception thinks it's not a matter of life and death and you have to call them again for another appointment... Totally unprofessional!

I switched to this practice having been unhappy with my previous one. Quite simply, it was the best decision- this practice is fantastic. Professional every way and I'm super delighted and grateful to be a patient here.

Receptionists are rude and dont want to make appointments and are rather interested in what its for? Surely you shouldn't have to explain your self everytime you require an appointment for your own health the best doctor is Dr minchell and is so helpful and kind

Never had a problem with this fantastic practice. Excellent GPs, my issues were dealt with amazingly quickly , and given the difficulties faced by all practices these days, they are remarkably better than many. Highly recommended, so grateful to be registered here.

The most pathetic third class GP practice I feel pitty for patients who have been registered with them . Unfortunately they were my referral from my own GP ! They kept me on hold for 28 mins and when i was caller number 1 in queue i got a msg practice is close for training i mean seriously first of all your doctors forgot to send my prescription to my GP its been 10 days my own GP said they haven't received anything from street lane . You should update your timings on google rather then wasting other patients time .

Took the wife for treatment,never been before.Even though we were Kate,traffic/satnav problem she was looked after well.10 minute procedure,in and out! If you are not familiar with the location as was I,took a little while to find.Otherwise,no dramas.Thanks.

Terrible This surgery was better under previous ManagemenT Reception and doctors use any excuse to flippant behawares at every chance These people make more money than energy company CEOs A doctrine of terrible experiences

One doctor here that I’ve spoke to a few times is really good and I’d leave him 5 star however bad experiences mean I can’t give 5 One doctor took it upon herself to cancel all my medication all for chronic pain which a pain consultant had prescribed and I used for a long time. I wasn’t told till I went to collect it and had nothing to collect, rung the doctors and she said it’s blacklisted, this she said countless times, I kept saying you can’t just stop this medication I’d get withdrawal symptoms I need the meds. She had no understanding I had to end the call with me asking for her name for the complaint she wouldn’t give me her name. Put a complaint in. Next day same doc rings me saying good news I spoke to the partners and I’ve got your medication back, I said I want the name of the person who cancelled it they need retraining on the basics, she said I just now read your notes and you have a complicated past and chronic pain. So.. this apparently a doctor cancelled all my meds and didn’t even bother to read my notes. Should be sacked!
