I had many times a bad experience here but yesterday was the worst. I had a really bad accident falling from a scaffold doing my garden and I scraped my legs and loosing a lot of blood... Honestly If I could post the photos you will be terrified. Any way, we went to the GP cause it was the closest medical centre to us. As soon as I got in they said they couldn't take me as I had no appointment but they could see my legs bleeding and literally drops of blood on the floor. I said that I really needed help please... And the receptionist girl just told be to take a seat and wait. A doctor came out to the waiting room, got close to me and she just said: “I am really sorry, there's not much we can do for you here. I would recommend you to go home and take a bath. Do you have a bath? Then take a bath and clean the wound properly. I wouldn't bother if I was you going to the hospital cause they will do probably no much more and you'll have to wait for many hours " I was shocked. I just couldn't believe what that lady just said to me honestly. I started crying of frustration cause I was bleeding lots and don't know what to do or where to go for help and I couldn't even walk. I ended up going to Boots and asking them for advice. They were actually really helpful. As soon as they saw me coming in they grabbed a chair for me, got me some water and got me a blanket. Honestly this Medical Centre did NOTHING to help me but not just this time, it is literally every time I went.
Bad service From the SURGERY not like how it used To be not professional at all as my nephew has been waiting on a medication they’ve had mail from the hospital regarding his meds couple of months ago and still didn’t have the decent say to chase it up and give me a call aas he has been waiting patiently and suffering with his illness poor management We will be moving to Hyde Park surgery. I think the rest of you should do the same as is much better and they are more professional.
I booked a physio appointment with the receptionist and got told the appointment was at 9.30am in three weeks. Waited my three weeks and turned up to my appointment only to be told my appointment was at 8.40am. No email or text confirmation to confirm the change of appointment time. What a waste of public funding and everybody’s time. The reception and appointment booking system is terrible.
Not happy as I think the surgery is getting more unprofessional day by day .They have changed that you can’t be later than 10 minutes to Five minutes look which is absolutely acceptable, but none of the patients were informed by text or email. I could be running late which can happen sometimes Happen Lucky that I called up saying that I might be round 5 to 10 minutes late, and then I was told that this has been changed to 5 minutes so if I was over five minutes late I would not be seen Plus, sometimes the receptionist the give you the wrong information and I don’t want to mention any names, but they have rude receptionist .. Really upsetting as this is my family Doctors, and now I feel like I just want to move elsewhere to be honest
Absolutely ridiculous. They were running 35 minutes late for a morning appointment, then I was sent to a pharmacy that hadn't received my prescription. So I'm stood there poorly and sweating with a temperature for 20 minutes only to have to go back to the GP to find out where it was. Totally not acceptable when you're ill. Shocking and no apology from them
Brilliant practice! All the staff are exceptional, receptionist's are so friendly. No hanging around for appointments. Fantastic communication.
5 stars for the practice, minus 2 for the receptionist! Practice is great, can always get an appointment and doctors are lovely & helpful. However, Martin call handler very rude and awful tone! Couldn’t believe how I was spoken to, it was almost laughable. Normally reception are lovely here but last couple times I’ve rang I’ve had Martin who’s really letting the practice down. No need for the attitude.
Lovely practice, been registered for approx 4 years now and never had an issue getting an appointment - professionals are always very knowledgable and kind. The nurses speak to you like you’re a friend as opposed to a patient which eases my nerves at the doctor.
This is your standard doctors. No bad experiences here. They are reliable, all of the doctors have been lovely I especially like the female doctors who have made me feel safe and listened to and the reception staff are always nice. Booking appointments online for the next week is a really simple process and they reply very quickly with the appropriate response. They are usually busy and hard to get through to in the mornings but that's just the state of the UK NHS right now. For all non emergencies, booking online is the easy and sensible thing to do.
I don’t think the NHS gets praised very much but I must say the quality of care that I have had here has been excellent. Called midweek and they arranged an appointment with a GP on the weekend. Always able to get through to reception staff with little wait on hold. Needed some bloods taken and they fitted me on the same day! Thank you for this!
