Unfortunately despite the refurbished exterior and entrance the screens are really starting to show their age now. Very poor sound quality and the premium seats are somehow not as comfortable as standard. Staff always very happy to help and despite being expensive I like the quality of food. But seriously, I want to visit the cinema more often but if myself, and likely others are to return to cinema we expect the audio and visuals to be up there. You can get a pretty reasonably priced TV/projector and sound hardware that easily beats the quality of your screens.
Really nice movie theatre, nice and clean and the staff are very friendly. Really handy being next door to several family eateries including an Indian buffet and Denny's. Also just round the corner from B&M which is a perfect place to pick up cheap snacks.
Had trouble with a voucher we'd had given to us, but the staff sorted it without any hassle. They also checked we had sorted our car parking extension. Exceptional service, can't wait to return. Make sure you use the Odeon app for best prices.
Went to see avatar 2. It's a cinema. Not sure what else to say. It's been a long time since I went to odeon and it looks totally different. Perhaps there was something nostalgic about the old layout but the new digital self serve layout is a bit odd to me. Nachos are usually good but convinced the hot cheese gave me and the Mrs bad guts the next day.
Probably the only cinema around here I visit now. Multi screen, so good choice of mainstream films. Cinema is clean and well presented with free parking. It loses a star for the price of the food and drink, but all cinemas are like that.
Free parking with parking extension offered for free. Not the largest of cinemas. We watched the new avatar film and it was very cold outside and not much warmer inside. Really cold personally I was glad to get back in the car to get warm. I'm sure in the warmer weather it will be ok, maybe not up to some of the modern cinemas around.
Clean and neat. Large cinema rooms, hardly full though. Seems like they should lower their prices and at least they'd get a lot more seats filled and earn better money.
The staff are fantastic! I attended with a lady who has special needs. The staff were so helpful and natural with her.

Walked in through the front doors feeling the nostalgia that all cinemas used to have with the smell of pop corn and the classic cinema decor. This alone makes me want to return as it felt somewhat magical like it did during my childhood. This was a nice feeling ... Staff were extremely friendly and if this was a review on them they would have a 5 star review. However, this negative review is purely based on the fact that during the film my view was slight obstructed by the front row Premium seats as per my picture. Perhaps taking a note from how more modern cinemas have there seats would help sales? I also felt like I was very far back and the screen was so small due to the shape of the room. Sound was great in parts but then sounded very thin in other parts as if I was watching it on a cheap TV? This was during a showing of Top Gun. I will say though, Odean actually do proper sizings for there food which makes it worth the price. Despite being expensive for some, a large is actually a large unlike the tiny large you get in Vue Cinemas ... don't worry Odeon, my review on Vue Cinemas are worse! BUT ... the popcorn machine was being emptied and the bloke had to go out to the back to get my popcorn and it was rather stale. Lastly, I think it is just Swansea now ... quality seems to be leaving Swansea quickly and it's seems big corpations like Odeon forget about there establishements in this city and just let them fall to peices. You can see this displayed perfectly by some of the DIY repairs throughout. Please give this cinema a nice refurb! I have lost faith in Vue and need a good cinema to go to!
