Great for nostalgia.  Old cinema theatre with all original features. Sells snacks and drinks at reasonable prices. Check out the local bottles of Beer - nice.we holiday nearby every year and always go to a movie. It's a non profit making venture keeping alive some history, so give it some support

This is such a special place to visit in Tywyn. The Magic Lantern shows up to date films and also live streaming from London theatres. Dogs can be taken as long as they are well behaved. The foyer is comfortable and welcoming where one can have a drink before a film but also it is used for open mic night's and other events. This is truly a real gem.

Love this cinema. It has real character, and you can take a glass of wine or a cup of tea into the film with you. What's not to love? As well as the current mainstream releases, it also shows broadcasts of live and recorded plays, opera and ballet. It also hosts Open Mic nights and other occasional live events.

Love this place, brill vibe,  good community activities along with live music and arts sessions, long may they reign !!!
