Excellent cinema and really lovely staff. 5-star in that respect. The lack of fifth star is the prices on the concessions. 12 for two drinks and a bag of sweets!? I paid over £50 for a drink and snack for 6 people at Christmas. Vue might as well make the staff uniforms come with a mask. I know it’s nationwide. Maybe this will get back to them. Doesn’t take away from the entire local experience here, it just puts me off purchasing anything here.
Disgusting customer service.nWe paid money for 2 tickets to watch a film. Half way through the film the screen went black for around 10 minutes.nWhere we complained the so called customer service department said it wasn't their problem and they would not refund us.nAppalling behaviour.
I love this cinema because the staff are lovely. It’s such a shame that some visitors don’t respect the building and fittings and there is a lot of damage. Also confectionery prices are very expensive. However I would like to commend Chris who works front of house as he is an ambassador for the cinema. He is always friendly and helpful. Lovely guy who always goes the extra mile.
So annoyed at how bad this cinema has gotten from how it used to be. Literally sat here waiting for the film to start and doing this review. One person on til and ques half the length of the building. Half of the stuff on offer are missing as guessing staff have either not had time to re stockmore than likely or poor management. The stuff they had on offer has 200-250% mark up and the soft drinks on tap were served without the c02 making them flat and being charged £5.20 for the pleasure of drinking it, would have taken back but didnt fancy queing for another 20min and missing a chunk of the film. Bought tickets online didn't even have staff checking tickets so could have gone in for free. Get in to the cinema had been either cleaned poorly or haven't even been cleaned as sticky and dirty. Agree with other comments that it is much better to carry on up the road to Swansea and pay a fair price and a better experience. No complaints about the staff as its clearly the company cutting costs to the bare minimum to maximise profits which will eventually lead them to ruin.
Vue is normally a good cinema, but this particular one in Carmarthen is badly organised, let you into films late as they are late cleaning, then half of the seats are plastered in filth. I won’t be returning
