Last time I went to this cinema was in 1983. Seemed I stepped back in time! Same seats comfertable enough, curtain in front of screen, ice cream booth, single screen. I guess its maintained its quirkiness.
Easily my favourite cinema in the UK. It’s a proper old-time working cinema, complete with confectionary stand, downstairs bar and curtains across the screen for a snacks interval. I loved coming here as a student and I loved visiting this student as an alumni who just loves Aber
Absolutely lovely little cinema. Comfy seats in a big auditorium. £6.50 for an adult is an absolute bargain. Will definitely be coming here many times again. My one and only complaint is the seats don't have cup holders which is a bit odd considering you literally have a bar.
Wonderful, would recommend this to anyone who went to the cinema in the 50's. Single, but good sized screen. Amazing value tickets long may it continue.
Fantastic traditional cinema , films presented to highest standards , great bar , all at affordable prices.
Great little independent cinema. With a bar! Use it or lose it
Quaint cinema, only one screen. Superb picture and sound quality. Clean and nice venue. 70s vibe going on....
Always nice, all should support small private venues, else we lose them. Fat Cat PLC's have enough of our money
Great as always. No, the screen's not as big as a massive Vue, but the clean and comfortable seats, excellent popcorn and overall independent cinema experience more than make up for it.
Well we came here with the kids aged 6 & 20mths old over the Easter half term to watch Sonic The Hedgehog 2 & we loved the place! Paid for the film online in advance to book our seats! Got seated really quickly and toilets at the back which were really handy to just nip off when needed! Absolutely loved the way they open a hatch at the bottom of the cinema near the screen and they sell ice lollies & little tubs of Ice cream and drinks to have whilst you watch the film! Reasonably priced aswell unlike bigger commercial cinemas who rip you off on such things! What a brilliant little place, we and the kids were made up with it! Definitely be back to watch a film next time we visit aberystwyth for our holidays! I asked our 6 year old if he enjoyed himself here & he replied: 'Yes, was way better than the big cinemas' high praise indeed!! love the place!
