Been coming to this cinema for a fairly long time and it's one of my favourites, tickets are priced at a reasonable £6.99 and the four hours free parking is a big bonus. Practically all of the fixtures and fittings inside are from when it was an Apollo cinema, which is actually a great thing for nostalgia since there was never anything wrong with those fixtures and fittings in the first place. Swansea is only 20mins away, and yes it does have an Odeon and a Vue, but you'll also find a very good cinematic experience here too, the only branch of Reel in all of Wales second nearest is all the way over in Chippenham - Reel, please open more Welsh venues!. Give it a try for a trip to the pictures. And it's right by Aberavon Beach on the seafront too! Hooray!
Went to watch an 8pm new release film, a good clean environment, and a good service on entry with enough staff in the tills.nFilm, food, and drinks for £25.nnThe seating is comfortable for our 90-minute film.nReally good date night. Adult tickets were £5.50 on the night, and I'm happy to pay that and then buy pizza or popcorn deals while there at that price.nnNew update Oct 24th, 2023nVery good customer service still, the main foyer and toilets were very clean. The cinema rooms need a good dusting on the walls and lights and some arm rests are either loose or completely come off.nThe cinema is still good. However, it needs some updating.
I am a regular at our cinema port talbot. Some the screens are moulding screen 5 bottom right hand side. All screens smell damp and I think it's no one's fault other than the sea air gets in through there fire door and causes issues. The staff go out there way to be very helpfull even as a disabled family. Staff are absolutely excellent. Food and pizza are tip top. It's the building that needs doing.
I’ve been coming to Reel Cinema here for a few years now and I can confidently say I have never had a bad experience. It is a classic cinema that feels cozy and welcoming on every occasion, with the staff members being friendly and helpful at all times. Whilst other cinemas ticket prices are extremely expensive, Reel has always been super affordable as well as having a Movie Madness deal on films screened before 13:00 for only £3.99. I always look forward to coming back to Reel Cinemas Port Talbot and will be returning soon as usual for another great cinema experience.
Came here a while ago. Great price for the film I saw, loads of parking. Very comfortable seats. Situated close to Aberavon beach so well worth a walk on the promenade before or after the cinema.
