Rude lying receptionist! Me: like to register as a temporary patient Her: we don’t offer that service Me: you’re NHS don’t have a choice, I’d like a form please. Her: send me the temporary patient form and states sarcastically there you go but have no appointments! Me: no problem, I’ll follow your appointment process. Me: I then hand her the completed form, and ask how to book appointments. Her: she rudely asks how I’ve just picked up my prescription. Me: that’s none of your business, now how do I book an appointment? Her: you must call at 8am and turns away. Me: erm…. Can I get the number please? None of the above was necessary, if they had just followed the correct processes that are already in place. Typical Doctors receptionists, thinking they are above everybody else.
Avoid! Can never get a doctor's appointment. For example, called 87 times from 8am & when my call finally got picked up I was told there were 13 people in the que. On hold for another 35 mins by this time it was gone half 9 & the receptionist then told me to try again tomorrow as all appointments were taken! This happens 9/10. It does start to make you feel like you aren't important anymore.
40 minutes in a queue at 1pm to be absolutely appalled by the rudeness of the receptionist staff I just received when calling for some advice on an urgent matter to keep being interupted with a rude tone when I was asking questions which she kept repeating what she had already told me and not answering what I was actually asking. Disgusting behaviour from someone that dosent want to clearly be doing her job!
I transferred to Oakridge earlier this year. From the reception to the nurses and doctors..whoever I have encountered they couldn't be kinder and more helpful. They are doing a difficult job under great pressure, with high and sometimes unrealistic expectations of the patients. This medical centre is so much better and accessible than my previous one. Thankyou.
Trying to get an appointment is infuriating. It goes between couldn't connect to line busy to the answer machine saying that the medical centre is closed.
Absolutely horrific can't get through to even attempt to get appointment they continually refuse to give repeat prescriptions and send out questionnaires to ask you to monitor your aliments should be shut
If I could give o star I would. Answer your phones. What kind of practice is this. Over an hour waiting every time. I waited for an hour and drove there while in a queue for over an hour. Arrived and not busy muted their phone just sitting chatting. No wonder NHS has failed. Bunch of lazy people.
I have been at this surgery for years now and I am looks to move to a different one. I understand that doctors are spread think but I can never get an appointment, always have issues with my repeat prescription and today I waited an hour and a half to be told I didn't need to see anyone and somebody must have made a mistake.
Impossible to book an appointment. Advised by surgery staff to register for online appointment bookings. A pointless task as there is never anything, not just for the following day, but for anytime in the upcoing month. If you enjoy camping and are feeling well enough!!!!!, stand outside the main doors an hour before they open at 8am and hedge your bets on whether you'll get an appointment. Shambles. There is one lady on reception that does a good job. It seems like everyone else here is proactively bad at there job. To say the practice manager is under-qualified is an understatement, a prime example of how the NHS is in the bin. Nobody cares enough to do a good job. Everyone that can afford it has gone to private healthcare, anyone who can’t is left to be subjected to malpractice & negligence displayed by this practice. All of which nothing can be done about by the way no repercussions for not doing there job properly, or at all in some cases. I am honestly DISGUSTED with this surgery and am genuinely made to feel more sick after having to deal with them.
