Story

O2 Academy Birmingham has been a landmark venue in the city since it first opened in 2000.

With over 450 events a year across its three rooms, it brings spectacular live music to the city from the hottest bands about to break to global superstars. It also hosts regular club nights with weekly residencies from the UK’s biggest Indie night Propaganda and one-off massive parties from major DJs and club brands.

In recent months the likes of Sam Smith, Jamie T, Rise Against, The Enemy, The Twang, Lauryn Hill, Jessie J, Action Bronson and Disclosure have all taken to the stage and upcoming shows at the venue include George The Poet, Clean Bandit, George Ezra, Placebo, The Prodigy and Of Mice & Men.

Been to see 3 artists there now, its a great location. I'm quite small but I'm always able to see the artist at certain points throughout the concert. Drinks are relatively cheap. Overall at great atmosphere in the stalls section, haven't been on the balcony so can't comment and I always have fun!
Cool venue, good sound. Definitely make sure you got the o2 priority app for them offers. Would try and go to a smaller show as sold-out shows tend to be so crazy busy you’d be lucky to see much of anything if you’re shorter than ft5.7
Great music venue! Brilliant atmosphere, plenty of room both standing and seated for a venue of the size. And plenty of bars!
Easy to get to. Parking is pretty much hit and miss so allow time. Plenty of bars for refreshments. Seats are clean and the staff are courteous.
Compact venue. Decent view of stage from all areas.
