Lovely venue. Went to see a CBSO Percussion performance. Amazing musicians! Fab cafe too where you can get a cup of tea and home made cake.
Lovely place I'm going today for the Baroque Ensemble, one of my favourite classics. This will be more intimate listening, which makes the acoustic sound more intense . I'm at the philomonic alot but it nice to be closer to the wonderful sounds of the talented musicians.
Lovely venue but it is always the music which stands out.The Centre Stage concerts provide the best value for ten pounds you will get anywhere
Worked with the CBSO as part of assorted projects featuring my school. Staff and musicians go out of their way to help and are really making music accessible through their community initiatives, breaking down the barriers between an orchestra and young audiences.....quite literally walking amongst them as they perform!! Do yourself a favour and go see them in action. Hairs on the neck stuff once they fire up!! Uplifting and a great day/night out.
Harp and flute concert was lovey I'd not been to the cbso before and just to sit & listen for an hour out of the day was bliss. Will be back
Great venue, wonderful music as always
A lovely venue for smaller scale classical music forms such as string quartets. If you are into chamber music then keep an eye on this place.
Lovely concert and delicious cakes beforehand .
Very enjoyable concert. The centre is a little out of the way & don't get to visit very often, wouldn't like to go at night
Went there with the kids for the notelets. Was a nice experience.
