My burger was fantastic!! Went for the peanut butter and jelly burger and was happy I did. The bacon was excellent and the flavors all worked well together. Patty was a bit dry and the buns were not very high quality but I still really enjoyed the burger. Interesting vibe inside. The music went through a whole array of different genres, from hip hop to blue grass country to heavy metal. Definitely a cool spot to check out!
Andrew was the best bar tender my wife and I have had by far. The food was absolutely delicious and Andrew created a drink that my picky wife loved!!! This place is a must see for anyone visiting five points in Birmingham!!!Food: 5/5
We visited this spot for the Sunday Brunch. Positive • There was no wait • Server waited on us shortly after we were seated • Mimosa was decent • Nice atmosphere Negative • The shrimp and grits portion size should be served as an appetizer and not an entrée. As the picture shows, the entrée is served in a ramekin. They charge $14.95 for about 4-5 spoonfuls of grits. Do not order if you are expecting this to be your meal. • The chicken strips that were served with the pancakes weren’t really seasoned.
I usually have a pretty good experience but not this time. I was told to sit anywhere so I chose to sit outside. After being passed, yet not acknowledged by multiple servers and waiting for 10 minutes I went and ordered at the bar. After 20-25 more minutes I asked a server to check on my food. I ordered the bulldog with a grilled chicken breast instead of the fried breast and it was severely undercooked. I've gone and never had an experience this bad. Note there were approximately 10-12 patrons at the most. Nowhere near the usual occupancy I see and yet service was less than half as good during lunch time.
We went here tonight to celebrate a friend’s birthday and we had a great time! We had about 12 people at our table and I felt that the service was good. We all got drinks, a round of shots, some appetizers, and entrees. I highly recommend the Greek egg rolls and the empanadas! Not a true empanada, but hey, 10/10 for a bar version!Recommended dishesBurger, Greek Egg Rolls
Great burgers made all kinds of ways. Service was good too. Enjoyed the experience.
Not gone lie when I first walked in I was a little hesitant don’t know why cause I’m into the whole comic book/anime thing. That aside this place was great, the food and the staff was definitely worth it. I was shocked by some reviews I read as I am not sure what some were talking about. The wait was a little long on the food but IT WAS WORTH IT. And to add on that the portion size was far beyond my expectations. Definitely recommend and will return.
Great customer service and atmosphere. However, the Black Market burger was nearly tasteless.I ended up dipping it in ketchup for some type of flavor.Absolutely no seasoning! I also ordered a glass of wine instead of a mixed drink and was shocked that it was $11!!!The average is $8 and there was nothing special about it in particular. The fries were great but the food and experience is definitely better at the location on 280.
The food was great and the service was quick. The staff was also very friendly. We did the chicken salad appetizer and the pita was to amazing and delicious. My boyfriend had the Trashcan Burger and it exceeded his expectations. I would go again!
Great atmosphere. Was able to come in and relax after a long day. Enjoyed the empanadas and a get up kid
